Hahahah! Oh god, repressed memories.

I once broadcast a conversation to all of Darnassus because I was partied with someone (so chat defaulted to /p chat) and we started talking to a third person that wasn't partied with us. I hadn't figured out the /s, /p, /w etc., so the only solution I had to saying something so that our non-partied friend would see it was to use /1... /facepalm.

Oh Darnassus. I fell off Darnassus. Body got stuck halfway up. Wandered around the ocean as a spirit for a very long time. I couldn't find the village to get back up. I didn't know about auto-unstuck yet.

I DID THIS!!! Glad I'm not the only one! I did finally, fiiiinally manage to find my way to Rut'theran (or whatever) Village, but I really wish I had known about that auto-unstuck.

Lol, I think everyone who's ever rolled a Night Elf has done the 'fall off Darnassus' thing.

 This is so embarrasing. I did that not a month ago. I was trying to do lowbie quests on Sara in her work on the Loremaster title, and uhm. It's a long way down. I tried to jump down as a ghost to find her body, but it had gotten stuck about half way down. So... yeah. *scratches head* I died again. Then I did a ghost run to Rutheran (did you guys know how big Teldrassil is, when you're running around it???? Took SO. FRIKKIN. LONG!) and ressed at the grave yard.

Even worse? It's not the first time I've fallen off that damn place. :(

Yea, I've done the falling off of Teldrassil and not being able to get back. Also guilty of wearing some strength mail. Also, and I don't feel as bad for this one, but my holy paladin leveled in strength and stamina gear. BUT, if any of you remember back then, that's pretty much all that existed for plate. You didn't reliably see intellect on gear until Lightforge. Honest! *Coughs*

I tried to tame everything back then. Even threshers. I wanted a thresher. *Laughs* If I had to do it all again, I'd pick a few core pets, and stick with them through leveling.

I kept using Serpent Sting continuously. It didn't have a cool down, so clearly we were supposed to use it every shot, right?

Haha yeah, I did the same. Then I had to sit and drink after every kill. >.>

You know what I really wish I had known back when I was just starting out? I wish someone had told me how to kite. Man, I melee'd everything on Sara before I got a pet. (And those ten levels took LONG back then!!!) I since learned to kite, and every hunter I've started since then has just breezed through those first ten levels. Of course none of this matters in a few months. =_=; (Haha Just kidding, I love it!)

Double check ammo before going into a instance /dungeon!
Yes I've done this dumb huntard move a couple times where I didn't check after a lot of fights then either went in with zero ammo or ran out while in. /facepalm
Thankfully I have had good groups who weren't upset and laughed it off saying "I've done that to!"

I've never fallen off Teldrassil. Maybe I should. Just to experience it. I have however fallen from the top of Stormwind and survived with almost zero health. Got an achievement for that.

It is a pretty awesome fall. You keep thinking you're going to hit the bottom soon. But you just keep going and going. Sadly I didn't think to check the view while I was falling. >_<

Yea, I was to busy going "Oh GOD! I fell off the edge! I am so stupid!" to notice the view. I should slow fall off of the top some time.

Always remember to unequip your fishing pole before going into a raid.

Now add something pet related that you wish you would have known as a hunter coming up :headbang:
I started with a bear but the moment I picked up a wolf I saw the huge difference, so I see where you are coming from.

I wish something I knew before hand was how much non-hunters hate your pet. On my battlegroup at least, people are always complaining about something my pet is doing wrong. YES GROWL IS OFF!! :x

Ugh, it's a personal pet peeve of mine whenever I run an instance where the tank can't hold aggro, the first thing to be said is 'Turn Growl off'. I have to respond with 'It's been off the entire time.' Blargh.

You would have been able to if you knew how to at the time, but we were all new once, so don't regret not managing to.

In 3.0, BRK tanked Gruul with his Gorilladin. As well as countless heroics. Shortly after 3D Sarth became outdated, it was also tanked by a hunter's pet, by the author at Big Red Rhino, if I remember correctly. There's probably some others, since I haven't really kept myself up to date that much since BRK left. Low level instances are the easiest to tank. I wish we were able to queue as tanks in Looking for Dungeon, but Blizzard doesn't think we can tank even if we can. :(

Edit: misread that as hunter instead of rogue. I'm very tired. Just ignore me. :P

or going in the battlegrounds. attacking the enemy with a long whippy pole is not very intimidating :-)

I remember once a few years ago I was RPing on my rogue. A guildmate had an RP wedding at the Cathedral in SW, and I forgot to change out of my tuxedo when we went to run MC.
