True, guess that does help quite a bit.Jadein92 wrote:But with Thrash as an added swipe, but with an extra dot on each target.
A fun place to chat about hunter pets in the World of Warcraft.

I'm not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, as I haven't read the entire thread. But regarding Silencing Shot, that is wrong as far as I know, as it will be a tier talent available to all hunter specs, along with intimidation and some other talent I cannot remember. Right? As you level, you will automatically gain access to specialisation abilities. These are spells and powers only available to your chosen specialisation, akin to the ability-giving talents currently in place. (An example would be Silencing Shot for Marksman Hunters, or Stormstrike for Enhancement Shaman.)
Correct! Silencing Shot is one of the optional talents open to ANY spec of hunter. That example should read aimed shot or chimera shot.Miyon wrote:I'm not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, as I haven't read the entire thread. Druids of the Claw can do typhoon....and they're very feral. Just sayin.Harvoc wrote:Personally, I dislike this change immensely. It detracts from the feel of each spec when previous talents that hunters identify with one spec are now available to the other two. When I'm in dungeons, I'm Survival for the AoE damage. Wyvern Sting helps a lot with patrols or loose mobs or in PvP. That's why I missed Survival so much when I switched to Marksmanship for PvP. Now, I can have Wyvern Sting too but it just doesn't feel the same. Nowhere is this identity crisis more apparent than in the Druid class. Seriously, my Feral druid can have Typhoon?!?! How does that make sense? I don't feel Feral anymore. I feel as if I'm Feral and Balance.
:O You're right! My bad, I'll fix that right away.Kalliope wrote:Correct! Silencing Shot is one of the optional talents open to ANY spec of hunter. I'd like to say thanks for your opinion. Here I was afraid we would only see people agreeing with my point of view. XDHarvoc wrote:Personally, I dislike this change immensely. Druids of the Talon can do it too, if you'd like to broaden it.Harvoc wrote:@ Jessibelle
You do know that I was talking about the druid class right? Not feral druids in general.
Yeah thats what I've always done. Gone to wowpopular.com, get the best spec there, then be on my way.pengupuff wrote:In the past I've always just googled the best raiding spec, so if this new system will allow for more personal choice, that's fine by me. It may also be a better incentive to level alts faster, since the reward of another talent will come a lot less frequently

Those sorts of talents are becoming baseline parts of their specs. You'll get that stuff automatically as you level. That's the general idea, anyway. They're the talents you'd be taking anyway, so there was no real "choice" involved.SylviaDragon wrote:So they are getting rid of all of the “minor” tree abilities like the 5% kill command crit, procs like breaking dawn (pallies) and replacing the trees with just the options for the “main” abilities? If so then I agree with you.
Thank you for clearing that up. I still dont quite like the look of it all but that quiets some of my gripes.Kalliope wrote:Those sorts of talents are becoming baseline parts of their specs.
