Well, I've been overcome by 'stable wanderlust' tonight (sometimes I get random urges to go on a taming binge). I figured with all the Dragonhawk talk today I'd go give one a try.

The blue is the only colour I could ever imagine liking, so I went and got myself a Sunblade Dragonhawk. He's very pretty, for a Shrimperfly, but it's just a novelty tame. I'll keep him for a little bit out of amusement. If there was a purple and green one I think I may actually like it enough to keep. x) Still wish they had legs though.

i think it looks fabulous next to you, the colors of night in silvermoon and your armor set+tabard really brings out the dragonhawks colors

Oh wow, that's pretty cool looking with the legs, the arms one is cool as well, just looks a bit cluttered. I personally love dragonhawks the way they are, but I also most likely wouldn't mind if they had been given legs.

I was going to say what a great idea that was and how much the legs would improve them (the fact they can never land worries me for some reason) But....now I just want to stare the Flying Shrimp.

I'd call it a Prawnerfly. As thats what we call big shrimp here XD

Cute but they look a bit off with limbs. I like them better without limbs.

I love the blue one with legs! I would tame that in an instant. I even like the first one. Now that you mentioned the limblessness bothering you, I have come to realize that it's something that's bothered me too, I just never thought about it. Don't they ever get tired? Poor things.

I would love to tame that blue dragonhawk with the legs, though...he's amazing!

The limblessness has always bugged me a little, but the pretty has always overpowered it.

And now I'm always going to think of them as shrimperflies o.O

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was YGOTAS quote...when Tea said, "And when I wake up, I'll be a beutaful butterfly", but that's just me.

I've always thought D-hawks as Flying Shrimp, but it'd look really cool if they had hind legs, it'd make them look really better, too.

I think dragonhawks look a lot better with feet. Would have made their animations as a mount better, too.
