Mhu = my tauren hunter. Obvious really and not very imaginitive, I know ;) I thought it was funny that someone above me uses the name Khau. They match so well :)

Wain = my shammy main. This one is REALLY not imaginitive (since my real name is Wayne), but it has a looong history behind it. My first online "game" was way back in 92, well before MMOs. It was a text-based social MOO called "JaysHouse". Most people who logged in just did so to chat and they usually used their real names. Wayne was taken, so I tried Wain. From there I proceeded to LambdaMOO, and then on to MUDs and then on to coding for MUDs, and I just kept the name with me. By the time I stopped mudding, in the 2000s and started WoW, I had used it so long I never considered anything else.

My nelf hunter, Mingyao, is named after one of our cats as well. She started out as an 'away' character I created when I was having health problems, and ended up becoming my main.

My main, Moey, has a name that is inspired by a Japanese name: Moe (Mo-Eh), meaning flower bud or new shoot. I just westernized it a bit.

My other high leveled character, Aeroiel, was originally a paladin In game but I re-rolled as a Death Knight after...well, it's a long story. His name originally comes from the Latin word Aero, meaning wind, and, -iel, a Tolkien elf feminine suffix.

Samskeyti is a song title from my favorite band, Sigur Ros.

And my huntress' name Kassiopeia is named after the tortoise in the book 'Momo' by Michael Ende, who wrote the 'Neverending Story'.

The other huntress Riyusei is named after a legendary dragon in the card game Magic-The Gathering, Ryusei the falling star. It reminds me of my best friend and when we played together in the evenings at uni.

And so is Ajani, my tauren druid.
