Equip: Increases Critical Strike Chance by: 5089
Equip: Increases Critical Strike Rating by: 4236
Equip: Increases Hit Rating to 100% to all targets three levels higher than you.
Equip: Increases Mastery by: 3089
Equip: Increases Haste by: 2053
Use: Summons an Army of the Dead, including Ghouls, Undead Vrykuls, Abominations, Forsaken, and other Zombies. The ammount of allies summoned is determined by Mastery Rating. (8 if mastery is at 0. You gain 1 extra ally every 10 Mastery you have.) (5 Min Cooldown.) (This is activated by Ctrl + Click)

I posted my idead in the Stampede thread a bit, but here goes my idea in full:

Make the next hunter legendary contain the Stampede ability as one of it's final stats. The idea is not to use your own pets, but the spirit of the beast you challenged in order to form every level of the legendary.

Legendaries grow more powerful in phases. My idea is to put beast challenges at every phase of creating the Legendary. Not just put it all in a raid instance, but allow some of the challenges to be solo'd, like the challenge tames. Being a hunter doesn't always mean relying upon others to get you progression in this game. Soloing is at the heart of all hunters and their pet.

Each level will have a different beast you need to challenge in order to tame their spirit to bind to your Legendary to make it more and more powerful. The final legendary will contain the spirit of all the beasts you challenged, and can be released in order to aid you in battle during the final legendary. Give it a chance to proc every minute for 20 seconds.

The new legendaries are also giving you an option to fly. Have the staff have an on-use effect transforming the hunter into a beast that has running and flying capabilities(just an example but a hippogryph, winged guardian, etc.).

This is just a baby idea, and I can go into more detail, but I have presents to wrap :)!

I love my hunter, and we deserve some serious love on our legendary. A legendary that puts challenge tames, stampede, and the ability to turn into the spirit of the beast = epic win!

but with a unique skin.
but with MOP the dragon era is pretty much over

so it would either be a new dragon skin (asian themed)
or an other transform all together (maybe one of those manti things :p)
or one based on the asian zodiac theme perhaps?

I fucking love this idea!!
and it also reminds me of our old Quest (Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers)
you had to defeat demons on your own so fighting certain pets for different stages of the quest kinda fits.

maybe even tie in the Asian zodiac theme for the spirits people have been suggesting maybe not all 12 of them.
I am really tired of collect x amount of essence in raid turn in quest, collect x amount different essence in same raid, turn in quest, collect x amount of yet different essence in same raid turn in quest etc.

both dagger and staff had this mechanic (dagger a little less I think.) not to mention the amount gained is random as well >_>

Ok ok. Here's one. I've been thinking about this for a long time and Spiritbinder sort of hit it.
Well...this wouldn't really be a legendary proc *but it could be?*, this would just be a new spell we get in the expansion.

Aspect of the Soul/ Soul Fusion/ Our Body As One: <----Something epic like that for the name.
EFFECT:
The hunter takes on the Aspect of the Soul temporarily fusing with the hunter's pet and gaining a percentage of the pet's attributes as well as taking on some *or all?* of the pet's physical traits and abilities. All normal Hunter abilites are still usable in this state.

So basically, you would gain armor/agility/strength/attack power, etc... for a limited amount of time. The part that I think would be cool would be that you would gain some physical traits of the pet too....depending on the pet:

Physical Effects:
Spirit Beast: Glowing blue eyes... blue translucent mist glow....maybe fangs
Worms/Snakes: Lose your legs. Picture a Jormungar/Snake with arms holding a gun. Or maybe you would just get big worm pincers/cobra hood.
Rhino: You grow a horn. Maybe you get bigger and grow a hunchback too.
Spider/Silithids: Grow spider/silithid arms out of your side. maybe a spider/silithid butt and fangs too...
Winged Creatures: Bats/birds/moths/wasps/dragonhawks/wind serpent/chimaeras, etc... Grow the appropriate wings for each type. *can't fly with them*
Cats/Dogs/Wolves/Bear/Hyena/Foxes: Fangs, fur, tail...each appropriate to their type.
Turtle/beetles: Grow a shell.
Crabs/Scorpids: Grow pincers. Maybe a stinger for the scorpid.
Gorillas/Monkeys: Hairy, muscular, and hunched.
Devilsaurs/raptors/Warp Stalkers/Crocolisks/: Big, Scaly, Sharp teeth, tail
Core Hounds: Big, Drips lava from body
Boars: Tusks, hunched
Shale Spiders: Gain a rocky texture/ glow from within
Tallstriders: Grow a long neck? ><
Ravager: Big teeth, mean looking
Sporebat: Big Pink Geni...errr...thier wierd tails, wierd glow
Nether Ray: Their wierd tails, belly glow

No, I would prefer a legendary-mount-dragon kind of thing that you can turn into with their stave, but I agree that the dragon thing is probably not going to happen, at least not a western kind of dragon, which is the kind I like best.

I do also like Rarehunter1's idea, but sadly don't think Blizzard will put that much work into doing one legendary for only one class...

Ah thought you where referring to a dragon proc aka similar what rogues have.

But ye dragon mount even if its Asian themed seems pretty much out of the question since the mount thing has been done with the staff already :S

Actually I was, but wanted the look of the proc to be a mount-style dragon :lol: anyways, as we both agree, that doesn't look very promising... :(
