Just picked up my first mysterious egg *and* found my second Vyra. No one was camping in the Storm Peaks so I decided I'd sit on the multi-path camping spot after picking up my egg and not even five minutes later, Vyragosa appears in the distance. I followed her round to find out where she'd spawned from - she went right back up to the Frozen Lake spawn point, so she must've spawned there, flown around the mountain, I'd gone past and not seen her and then she'd flown back around the mountain to where I was camping. That's saved me a good few hours anyway, back to it later!

Logged on before college to check out any spawns, sat on the multi-path spot and suddenly bam, Vyragosa spawn from the waterfall. I like this camping spot.

In all honesty, I'm feeling lucky already. Like, I really don't mind these Vyragosa spawns considering I seem to be timing myself rather well with them at the moment. I have no doubt that won't last though, considering both tonight and yesterday evening came and went without a single thing to be seen. As much as I grow nervous sometimes while camping, I'm patient enough to wait. No one wants to wait *too* long though, I just hope it doesn't last so long that I end up wanting to give up!
Apparently someone killed Vyragosa around 7 PM, but I continued to camp up till now and saw nothing. Now time for bed. It seems, so far, mornings are a *much* nicer time to camp when I can. Vyragosa has been spawning quickly for me when I log on in the mornings and I've even had time to play with her and follow her around for a bit considering that there was just no one else around to kill her. Heck, there's no way I would wait around if it was the TLPD though! Just now, I forced myself offline due to someone camping the waterfall area, an Alliance *and* a Horde camping at Brunnhildar and an Alliance who was camping the Frozen Lake, but way down the bottom where he shouldn't be, leaving me room to sit where the actual spawning point was, making his life miserable if it ever spawned up there. (Seriously, it's not my problem if he chooses to not do the proper research. If he was camping on the proper spot though, of course I'd leave him to it, but I'm not giving up a decent spot.) Although I do worry sometimes that, if it does spawn, I won't be able to kill it quick enough before he flies up and kicks my ass, considering he's level 85 and I'm still only level 80, nearly 81. In other words, it seems evenings are extremely busy times for camping. I think I'll continue to do quick look-arounds before college and perhaps do some camping starting in the early morning on weekends/Wednesdays. (My day off.)
I've also been hearing rumours that the TLPD does *not* despawn after a certain time. Whether this is 'anymore' or if he never actually did despawn at all is beyond me, but I'm willing to believe the story I heard about someone who camped, went out for a coffee, came back and saw NPC Scan had gone off for the TLPD around half an hour before they got back, and when they went to look for it he was still alive and well and flying around, 45 minutes after spawning. I won't accept this story as pure fact for now, but it makes me feel a little better.

Was *just* about to start a video guide for the TLPD when Vyra spawned, coming from the waterfall. Two 85s tried to gank me while I was killing her, but failed so hard as I still managed to kill her and loot her. The Alliance on my realm are such nobheads. In case anyone's interested, I'll link the guide once it's done and uploaded.

It's really not possible to camp without stress, is it? I've already had two assholes today, one of them I tried to give camping advice to since I realised where he was sat would get him nowhere and he swore at me for 'being smart with him' so I simply put him on ignore. He kept logging on to different characters to swear at me, but he grew bored when I never replied.
The other was some guy stacking on me and using Eagle Eye to see all the other spawn points all the time. I watched him for ages, finding it funny that if the TLPD was to spawn right at this point, he wouldn't know until his Eagle Eye was cancelled. (It's been proven that NPC Scan will only pick up mobs wherever you are using Eagle Eye to and won't pick up anything that actually spawns near your character until you stop using it.) So I just watched and thought of a funny idea in my head that when he came out of using Eagle Eye, there would just be a dead TLPD corpse in my place. :p But yeah, after a point, he made a massive dick move. He moved his pet so that it stood right where Vyra/TLPD would spawn, which would cause his pet to gain aggro, allowing him to know something was going on even while he was using Eagle Eye. I was like... what the hell? I asked him kindly if he would move, no reply. I lost my patience and told him to bugger off and stop being so rude. He laughed at me, continued to stack, so I did the next best thing. I moved to the waterfall so he'd grow bored of no one to stack on, contacted his guild master who assured me he'd have a word with the guy about this, and then the guy left and I didn't see him since, so I got back to my spot.
But after that more and more people continued to flood into Storm Peaks and I'd had enough - went offline, went downstairs, made dinner and watched tv. I can't handle stress like that, so when I do, I make myself log off and do something else. I'm also camping with, when he's online, some guy who was willing to accept advice on the spawn points and couldn't thank me more for it. So if I'm at frozen lake when he logs on, he'll happily move over to waterfall without another word. He's a nice guy, and we make sure each other know about any spawns.
I'll continue logging on throughout the night since we've not had any spawns since at least 11 AM, that's when I logged on and started camping. I kinda hope some people get bored of camping quickly and bugger off, I really hate camping when Storm Peaks is packed full...

Now I guess you can see why I don't camp TLPD all the time. On this realm, it's a nightmare. Every day there's some new twat and something he's got to bring to the stress table. I just do it occasionally now to stop myself getting annoyed. ><
I hope you'll get him soon! <3

I really can understand Ata. :/ But now I'm wondering if it's mostly due to it being the weekend. When I camped all week, I barely saw anyone, had no stress at all, nothing. Now that it's Saturday, people are flooding in from all directions, camping for half an hour, getting bored and leaving. And I'm worried that someone totally random is going to catch the mob that some of us have been camping well for much longer. Sigh. I wouldn't mind it at all right now if I could log in and have TLPD spawn in my face. -.-

I told myself I would only camp in the mornings, when I can, and evenings from now on, but that didn't stop me getting the urge to look around.
Flew past the waterfall and straight away NPC Scan alerts me to Vyragosa. Found her dead on the Brunnhildar patrol route. Didn't tell spot-stealing, douchebag hunter about it though, ha.

Aww, Chao. I really hope that your TLPD hunt is quick and painless!
I wish you the best of luck ... and here's some lucky stuff I found that's by me! xD

:3 Hope it brings you luck!

Tomorrow will mark my first week of hunting for him, so I doubt it'll be that quick and painless.
And I remember that drawing, it's really good Feralclaw. :3 Funnily enough I'm in the middle of my own artwork of the TLPD, done out of boredom and it'll be in my uni portfolio when I'm done!
PS. I just got the Abyssal Seahorse and afterwards I totally failed at taming Terrorpene, then to have some ass steal him from me. :/

GUYS. I came up with a clever camping idea. Works for hunters, anyway.
Ever since they changed the spawning so that they fly off straight away rather than hanging about for a few moments, giving you time to soak in what just happened and tag the spawn, I was getting a little worried that I wouldn't be able to catch it fast enough. So what I'm doing at the moment, while sitting at Ulduar, is moving my pet to sit right in front of where Vyra/TLPD will spawn and placing myself a little further away. This means that I'm able to sit on my bed and watch a film or something and, assuming something spawns in that spot, my pet will aggro it straight away, preventing it from going anywhere. And backing away a little means I'll be able to tag it properly right away, cause of hunter minimum range and all. Since I'm only level 81 right now, my pet won't drain their life too quickly, so I'm not entirely sure this would be a smart idea at level 85. You wouldn't want your pet to kill the TLPD and not be able to loot it afterwards... But still, there's an idea. (:

Brilliant idea. I'll be sure to use this.

Chao,
I logged on tonight and camped a bit, not soon after Vyra came flying in from Valkyrion, must have been an Ulduar spawn. 4am servertime, didn't camp after that. Glad it wasn't time-lost, neither you nor Atalanta were still up then!

Thanks again Sam. ♥ I'll be back to camping this evening after college. Hopefully I start seeing some bronze dragons rather than blue dragons...

Hey Nili
It's Garwulf from Huntsmanslodge's UI, but I modified it a bit. You can find it here:
http://huntsmanslodge.com/12033/ui-is-available/
To Chaoyll:
I was chatting to our DK friend last night, he's a really nice guy. At 3am, his npcscan went off for Vyra, but we couldn't find her until 9 mins later, she trudged down all the way from Ulduar, killed over Valkyrion. Strange happenings.
I also spoke to the hunter, it's a bit of a misunderstanding the stacking. I said it's never too late to change people's perception of you. But he's a nice person too. Maybe I can convince him to go for Aeonaxx
See you later, hope your shy drake will show up soon!
