This is a fun contest.

Here's a Pandaran designated driver. Not so much a mount, though. Just the general method of traveling through Pandaria, like a flightpath.

I'm hoping to finish mine tomorrow or the next day--Thursday at the latest. I'm just trying not to rush it, although it's not turning out how I'd planned anyway

Cloud of the Simian King

The cloud concept is borrowed from the Chinese Fable "Journey to the West", which I admit I have not read, but it was lightheartedly adapted for television in the 70s as "Monkey Magic", which was popular here in Australia. In the TV show, Monkey (Sun Wukong, the Monkey King) can summon a cloud to fly through the sky. In the original text I think it was the pig demon who could do this, while Monkey could leap enormous distances instead.

In practice it could function in the same way as the flying discs in Eye of Eternity. They'd just have to change the model to look like a cloud, maybe add a puffy vapour trail after it, or some roiling cloud effects. Aside from white there could be stormy grey and sunset red-orange models.

I just drew mine inking later today.

OMG that looks SOOooooooooooo... oooooooooo oooo Friggen Cool!

So much better than the wow foxes we have as pets, seriously! The size of it is actually spot on (I'm sick of feeling like I'm crushing my poor mount), It looks elegant, strong, vicious and noble all in one!, I love the the fact it has many tails, but not specifically 9 (I get that in the myth it is meant to have nine, but a lot of designs with nine tails look like helifoxes)

Ooh that one looks nice I like it

I will try to finish mine tonight when I get home.

Well here is one of my mounts I had 3 ideas (a water, land and air mount)
but the ideas i had of the land and air mount actually already existed >_>

so when i fount a picture of the new fishies in MOP i decided to turn one of them in a mount

So here is my koi fish mount.



It started out as a normal mount you would have been able to fish from the mop pools. however when I started coloring it pretty much turned into a alliance version of the fish mount >_>

I might make a horde version too when I got the time.

I kinda ended up rushing it but it came out pretty oke I hope :3

Oh man they're all really good you guys made my job of judging hard But the good news is hopefully I'll have some help! Alright guys contest is officially closed as it is friday! So from now til monday I'd like you guys to vote for your fav! Just pm me the mount that is your favorite (just the name please I am lazy and reading a lot makes me tired ) Monday night if I get some time I'll announce the winner and send over the code! I agree, would love to see an orange/white version, maybe with black armor, for Horde?

Also, a thank you to those who commented on mine--from what I read it can be 3-9 tails, so I just tried to go with something that wouldn't look ridiculous

mabye a reddish black one for horde and a orange white one as a fishing drop :3
