I could live with a tail, but it might just be a trailing sash. You can see she has something tied around her hips, so it might just be that.

pandas do have tails, actually. Red pandas got long ones(though I doubt this is a red panda) and regular ones have stubby tails.
Yes I know that :roll: Females should and proberly are pandas and not red ones. Would be werid having one based off bears and one based off Ailuridae's :lol:

Yeah either that or a weapon like a dagger. My dads the one who pointed it out at first and got me thinking tail though lol.

Yeah looks more like a weapon or sash. But I can see how it can appear as a tail too. However I doubt thats the case.

Not sure who the artist is of this, but saw this mock-up of what the filled in silhouette might look like:

I got a few pulls on people that have press passes.....so I'll see what I can scope out and what I'll be allowed to say. They're under the NDA still.

I was honestly expecting something a bit chubbier... somehow. But considering the norms of the gaming world, female Pandaren are off to a pretty good start.

They remind me to an extent of tauren females, they have bulk, but they're well toned and thus firm and a bit on the skinny side. Male tauren are toned as well but they are a lot bigger and bulkier but they have those killer abs and legs from all the running they do im sure XD pandaren live a very slow and calm lifestyle. While they excersize a lot, they do so in a very different manner and their lifestyle could be the reason for the males chubbiness since they seem extremely well fed off the rich delights their land has to offer and of course, alchohol XD

Yup. Males could be geniticly more likely to get fatter than females. But that might just be me thinking into it too much :lol:

My guess is a weapon or sash. Though I could also see tails. Whose to say 'red panda" isn't one of the available skin tones? Or tails aren't some form of adornment? But it still looks like a sash to me.

More importantly, she has a snazzy hairstyle. Please have new hairstyles in the game, oh please ;_;

But a Red Panda isn't a panda at all it's more closely related to the American Raccoon than any bear (even Panda bear) :mrgreen:

I quite like that one too.

I'm not 100% sure about the manga sized eyes, and the head and neck is a little small for my personal taste, but still a great concept.

I was kind of hoping for something a little closer to this, within that sized silhouette.

The Musteloidea consists of the families Ailuridae (red pandas), Mustelidae (mustelids: weasels), Procyonidae (procyonids: raccoons and kin), and Mephitidae (skunks). So yes that is true but I was making the point that they are not bears and should not be in the argument of whether or not Pandarens have tails because Red Pandas are not bears at all. :mrgreen:
