I love tails, tbh, and that's the sole reason Rosita hasn't made it to 85 yet I feel like there SHOULD be a tail on the worgen. But, that's me..

Agreed! I love tails and I still demand worgens have tails dammit...xD

Not really, actually. Most seem accepting of it and think it's a cute option.

I facepalmed when I learned of the red panda option since they're not even remotely the same animal, but it's nothing that's going to eat away at me. I just think it's pretty silly.

It's a fantasy game, the way I think of it. So real world science can't always apply. In this universe, the red panda is a real pandaren color/type.

I'd like it more if males could be red pandas but I'm more with Vephriel on this just think it's pretty silly.

I know, it's a fantasy game, which is why at the end of the day it's not an irksome point to me. All the same it's like them giving Worgen cheetah spots as a skintone for all the sense it makes. It's all fantasy, but I'm still going to shake my head at the obvious real world comparisons.

Technically speaking...

Most people do not even realize how different Red Pandas are from Panda Bears. For years, they were called the "Panda's closest relative" and such.

People just think its a cute, small red version of a Panda with a tail. They don't realize they are completely different species and animals, and no more closely related than wolves are to hyena.

I too facepalmed at the red panda. I had railed so hard against the idea...cause its just stupid. But, ya know what? They're cute, they have fluffy little tails and....I'll play one. Screw science, I want a tail.

I still don't get why males can't get the red skin.

I was "Ok" with their being a brown/redish options for the female pandas (though I also think the males should have been aloud this option too if that was the case) (*edit* Looks like the Males do have the red option ). But the tails.... /agreed, pretty silly, imo.

And it seem the goblins of Kezan have been trading in illegal furs from Pandaria for quite some time now

......

I just think it's funny that if it wasn't called a Red Panda we wouldn't have the option for long tails.
