You're there to help test things, to break the game. It's not just there for fun and kicks. It kinda saddens me when I see lots of posts that are "I just wanna play around and have fun" rather than actually doing what the beta is meant for. While theres nothing wrong with having fun, theres a lot more testing involved than just flying around or looking for nodes to be ahead of the game.

Oh, I'll be testing.. but by the time I get in Beta in June, the only real testing to do will be "hey, you broke this when you patched".

Remember, I committed to a year of payments to get Beta access. That's a bit different than being selected for a true beta process.

The last time I got into beta, there wasn't anything really left to test. Not even 2 days after I got the invite they announced the release date for Cata...

On EU still lots of people playing since 2005 Vanilla don't have an invitation...If I think my account was open in 2010...

My guess is the next wave will be the 05-06 majority... Perhaps a little bit of 04s but based on everything I'm reading it sounds like the majority of 04s got in.

is it written anywhere how long you've been playing? like the date you started?

I looked in my battle.net but couldn't find anything like that.

I know I've been playing since Vanilla, I THINK shortly before Burning Crusade came out.

You have to look in a round about way to access the old account billing summary page...lemme go google it...I'll post the link. c:

Basically go to the bnet page. Click manage games...then click the one labeled cataclysm. There should be a link on the side that says account summary.

Kinda sucks, The account I use now is only from 2/6/08 but my other account which I allowed to get frozen since I stopped paying for it was from 11/27/04. Guess I should of kept that one instead.

Logging into the game and doing /played should do the trick as well.

I first started my account back on 26th December 2005. (Yep, got it as a Christmas present, I would have only been 13 back then oh lol.)

I haven't been playing constantly since then though. Took me aaaaaaaages to level a character properly. Heck, my current main was made on 22nd October 2011 hehe.
