kinda bummed today, I really wanted to get my baby panda over to the next zone, but the dang loot quests are bugged. I know they've been reported along with everything else that's been going on. Ah well, back to RL.

Since the starter zone was bugged at the scroll quest, I went back to live, and worked on fishing. Got Salty.

Some minipets have stats and attacks now, you can also rename minipets now.

rename minipets? oh how i have longed for such a power!

all we need now is to name mounts...

I'm still having problems trying to get my beta to load. It gets stuck updating the files, it doesn't even get to the launcher screen. I tried what was suggested on the front page and it still won't work. Any thoughts?

don't use the launcher.exe, just use the wow.exe

Well, I did use the WoW.exe, and it won't log into any of the servers. They show up red. When I click on them, it acts like it's connecting, but then just stops. And when I got to exit the game, it crashes. So I dunno what's up.

And now use the launcher. Apparently using the main exe clears something up and the launcher should progress properly now. It did for one dwarf, and for me.

It seems like Blizzard has to break something with the trolls in every expansion beta. Anyone remembers the Trumarf?

Still stuck on updating setup files. Was working fine the other night, but after this patch can't even get it to load.

It worked for me.

I had an issue with the launcher last night as well. It was stuck saying "updating" on the launcher itself. I just waited til this morning and ran it again and it went through fine. I'm guessing the server was just too taxed with so many new beta invitees jumping onboard. XD

My brother was having the same issue getting the beta installed. I used the fix in this thread to get his install to finish:

It finally got to the launcher and started dling the update after about half an hour lol. Thanks for all the help.

Yeah that happened to me once, but 30mins later it worked just fine *shrug*

Trying to do some leveling with my Pandaran and looks like all the gathering type quests are borked in The Wandering Isles and luckily did the quest for burning the scroll before the patch since its being reported that the scroll is not even spawning.

yeah, gathering quests are still not functioning as intended. Rather disapointing since its pretty much ground the whole pandarian leveling to a stop. On the bright side, female panda's can now /sleep /lay

It looks like the pandaren females has new idle animations. I'm not sad about that. They looked kind of weird before.
