I do have a slight pet peeve against the WoW models. What I find to be quite repetitive and stale is when they introduce new creatures but use the exact same sort of animation and model for them as the CPU's before them. When they introduce new creatures into new expansions, they should give them a unique model and animation of their own. Or maybe take an old model and add a bit more flexibility or animations in them to give them a bit more character.

Okay, I tried to explain that to the best elaboration I could. Annoy rant over. :P

I thought of another one:

When people don't capitalize the first letter of their pets names. X_x

Reminds me, unnamed pets... That drives me absolutely bonkers! I can understand for a bit, if you don't have a name for the pet, but there are hunters on my server that never name any pets... Even worse, I have hunters on my realm/battle group that name their pets after the utility/buff that they bring, that grinds my gears to no limit.

You have to admit that for players that aren't into RP at all, for whom the game is all about dps meters and item levels, it's a practical use for an option they wouldn't use otherwise. :)

Practical, absolutely, but it's like naming my dog Footrest...

True, but again what Gorman says makes sense. They're not looking at it like a pet. To them it's just a piece of equipment. Which is a logical outlook for people who, you know, focus on raiding, not the "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" aspect of hunter. *shrugs.*

One of those cases of to each their own.

It bugs me that so flippin many of Outland's beasts are identical to those on Azeroth. This is an alien world, its wildlife should be different all over. We got some new original stuff sure, but then we got plain old owls, wolves, frenzies, etc etc. At least the basilisks were given new heads. Even the raptors and wind serpents were pretty weak, throw on some spikes and yay?

Worse, they then went and did the reverse... Boglords in Deepholm? Warpstalkers as little critters everywhere?

What else... oh yeah, those big silithid tanks were passed off as big Nerubians in LK. Whaaaaaat? They don't look remotely spider like... they were big beetles for crying out loud.

Taunka females. WTH. I don't care if they never get used again, but they deserve a custom/unique head just as much as the males.

There is plenty more stuff, but I'll stop here :P

Worgen female snarly face.

I like almost everything else but their face.
...
Seriously.

Why?

Something went badly wrong in the design of female worgen faces, that's for sure. Something about trying to over-feminize / over-cutesify at the same time as trying to look BADASS ended up with something sort of bulgy-browed and snarly and nowhere near as cool as the males. Blizzard's seeming need to exaggerate gender difference led them into a really bad place here.

Oh the really fake sounding worgen voices.

Yes.. surely they wouldn't find it too hard to hire ACTUAL British people to voice the human side of Worgen, and they sure as hell need to redo the worgen form voices over

Worg back leg animations - otherwise, I kinda like the model. It could use some cleaning up, but it's not terrible. But that animation bothers me - both on the mounts and as pets. My alt Hunter has her heart set on Barnabus, so I'm trying to look past it, but I still notice it. Doesn't help that she's an Orc, so I get to see the mount version too.

Tailoring and Enchanting in the Wrath stage. Soo much cloth/dust needed >-< And I didn't level the two together, so DE'ing my tailoring stuff wasn't as viable as it could have been. But now I'm doing it again just cause I have friends on a server and I need to build another alt army there.

Go-go-go tanks who act all full of themselves and mass-pull, but can't hold aggro to save their lives. It usually leads to the heals/others popping CDs and running on fumes to keep people up, just to have the tank act like he's 'so pro' for surviving the pull.

DPS who pull for tanks (mostly found this in my guild's alt group - it's generally 'loomed-to-the-teeth' Pallies and Mages who tend to have attitude problems.

Which is why I love the helm of might look on my worgen warrior. It hides just that constant snarl while leaving the rest of her face untouched, since so many helms are badly stretched out on worgens.

My biggest annoyance with models in WoW is when certain parts of models are not cut out properly. Worst offenders are the older cat models with their teeth

And troll druids with their beards and the end of their braids.

Not to leave out that the troll cat model looks like complete crap compared to the other cat forms. >(

I love my Skoll but he does run in a way that irks me. Also his mouth. Saber worgs just got the bum deal there I can imagine them closing their mouths but it looks wrong in my mind. The only reason I have him is because he's my favourite pet in the game due to his colours and lightning effect. Also just because he's one of a very small handful of my pets who has truly bonded with my hunter.
I dislike the general Worg model too, they look a bit mean and I don't like the whole "fangs on lower jaw" thing either.

Worgen females. I like them, I just wish they wouldn't have a perma snarl, they would still look badass if their teeth were hidden. Also that sniffing thing both sexes do. Would you really do that? Be a human all your life and now all of a sudden you act like that in public just because you have a better nose? :p

PvP and the "need" to do it atm for Children's Week. I find PvP really difficult, it's like I have a mental block to getting better at it, I try and I've done research but it's not working out very well for me. :/ My heart is really set on that Violet Proto-Drake too and there's this one thing in my way.

Bird pets. The flying motion, the constant bobbing up and down is quite off putting for me.

OHHH and also... Poor Madexx being shrunk SO much when tamed. He needs more beef under his scales! :( The current tame size is too small for such a lovely model.

Agreed on these too. Also the running the worg does....they look like they're constipated.

And if the rest of the group can't carry him (e.g. healer using fast/expensive heals, dps avoiding any use of aoe), he does a /votekick on some random scapegoat. And the other 2 members blindly click OK, because as far as they're concerned a wipe happened and well... they're in the mood for kickin!

End result: incompetent imbecile gains +5 self assurance and feels motivated to ruin even more groups.
