I'm pretty sure the new secondary professions dailies will work similar to the way they do now; so there will be one cooking, one fishing, one first aid, and one archaeology quest available every day. You can choose to do all four, or just whichever professions you want.

That'll make life easyer as on Cowmufalge I have all the 2nd proffs XD

Hit 90, did a little song, did a little dance, hopped on the kite and flew to the Shrine of Two Moons in the Vale to pick up flying. Got the flying and with much glee ran down stairs to talk to Wei Lakebreeze who belongs to the faction I most DESIRE:



*Haven't got my Alli toon to the Vale yet so I don't know who the npc rep is.*

Got the pre-quest from Wei to talk to Instructor Skythorn and happily flew to the Arboretum where the Cloud Serpents are ready to accept any and all follow up quests
Skythorn gave me. Turned in the quest to join the Cloud Serpents and....nothing!

I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be up and running after either Tuesday's maintenance or some quick patch on Monday. But in the mean time might as well try to raise that archaeology level for the daily connected to them and the Lorewalkers.

I really wish they'd stop adding things that require cooking/fishing when the reward isn't BoA >_>

I level them on one toon. I've had to level fishing twice now, never ever ever ever doing it again. Cooking is just useless, sorry. xD

And another thing: Keep your eyes peeled for Onyx eggs laying on cliffs, behind trees, or tucked in leaves on Windward Isle. Like the Netherwing Eggs they can be turned in for a rep boost. But unlike the Netherwing Egg the Onyx Egg rep boost doesn't change after the first turn in.

Well...Technically it is 'BoA' since mounts are account wide.

So you should only have to do the quests once on one character.

At the time I made that post, they were on the non-account wide list, actually.

After collecting around 18 eggs-there weren't a lot of people collecting them so they didn't appear "rare" and I just had a good deal of time on my hands-I hit revered with the Cloud Serpents and my serpent went from this:

Anyone else think they need to rename the quest lady to like "Fulan Ma" and have a companion next to her that's a red hatchling called Mushi? >_>

There's already a Mushi in the game But it's called Mishi.

Man I was never a proffession person so this will be bad lol I literally have no proffs on my hunter or any other toon cept my 8 year old who has like 488 herb and 322 enchanting yeah...

I could imagine people saying well you can start now but seriously no I'll get it up to whatever it needs to be and that's it :p

I prefer to run low stuff with my twinks or daily quest for mounts over anything else in the game oh and role play!

So for the heck of it since when MOP goes live more people will be swarming Windward Isles looking for Onyx eggs and I know I'll be using the regular route of doing dailies to get exalted, I went ahead and collected all the eggs I needed and hit exalted after I had done my daily quests for the Cloud Serpents.





On reaching exalted, had a nice cut scene then received the Reins for the Azure Cloud Serpent and automatically learned the Cloud Serpent Riding Skill after the cut scene. My other toons also received the Azure Cloud Serpent to their mount list but of course without the Cloud Serpent Riding Skill they can't use it.

I was really hoping that the Quartermaster (?)/Serpent Keeper San Redscale would have the other two Cloud Serpents available after hitting exalted but he didn't. So it looks like for now if you want all three mounts you just have to use three toons to get them.

I was also hoping he would have the Onyx Serpent mount since you are collecting Onyx eggs but nope he didn't.

You can obtain the Onyx Serpent from doing the quest, Surprise Attack! in townlong steppes. Not quite sure but I think it requires you to either be exalted with the Shado-pan or finish the questline, or both.

Hmm..Wowpedia gives the quest Mogu Incursion(s) as the prequest for their listing of Surprise Attack! and according to that site you do need to be exalted with the Shado-pan to get the Mogu Incursion quest. But upon completion of Surprise attack Wowpedia doesn't list the Onyx Serpent as a quest reward.

Hopefully more info will come out on whats what as beta progresses.

It may change but as of right now, you can obtain the mount from doing that quest. Atleast, that is how i got my onyx serpent.

I am soooooooooooo happy to see that this quest is a repeatable aka netherwing. at least it makes collecting the other 2 serpents on alts less painful midway the expansion :3.

And it gives me incentive to scour around for eggs in the weekend I found it so much fun back with the netherwing back in tbc.

Thanks for the wonderful pic!

Hopefully nothing else will change and it does stay part of that quest line. (I'm still hurting that to start back doing Shad-pan dailies I have to now get Revered with the Golden Lotus.)

So! Latest build you can now purchase the other Serpent colors from the Quartermaster.

I took a level 85 toon who was friendly with the Order and got her to that one safe ground level spawn site in the little gully near the beach on Windward and no, couldn't loot the egg that finally spawned.

Kinda sad at not getting the boost from the egg. But then again its probably set up that way so people will go out and explore Pandaria than wait around for one egg to spawn to get rep. XD
