A: Currently the exceptions are pets with humanoid children models. They will not be included in pet battle system. Nor will Guardian Cub.

We had an easy time capturing them on the beta, but that's because the system wasn't fully implemented. Not to mention any that only appear at certain times of the day, or during certain weather conditions. Being a student..
