Agreed. The shell is also pretty vastly different.
I dunno. I like both versions.
But like you, I may have to go for the WMV version more, because it's a dragon turtle, and the aforementioned style (with the webbing and all) really brought out the part in them that says 'dragon'.

XD just noticed that it is spikier in the WMV, i hope that it is a glitch, or that it hasnt rendered right, cause the beta one is definitely not the turtle i fell in love with..

The new tigers do have a very stocky build in some postures. There's this big muscled area on the back of their neck that stand out sometimes. I'm still not quite decided if I like them or not. Sometimes their shoulders seem too wide for their body, and the model stretches weirdly in many animations.

Yeah I definately would say bulky.
Honestly, I do not notice the flaws in the animations while I'm playing. I guess other people could always notice things in game that I don't, but WMV is a really easy way to study all of the flaws in a model.

Went and tamed one of the level 84 tigers-and he is very bulky and chubby-but I don't really mind, I think he is rather adorable like this.
I mean who could resist this face?
I didn't really notice how bulky he was till I watched his yawn animation.

I dont think I'll find the graphics to much of an issue, especially the attack ones since If I am close enough to see the issue, then I am not far enough from my target (being a ranged class and all) despite the lack of dead space now.

If you blow up models in WMV and isolate individual frames you'll find all sorts of things to pick on in all models. They're simply never intended to be viewed that way, or with close scrutiny at all.
Then again, real life is the much the same. Take individual shots of people doing stuff and most of them look terrible.

Aw. My favorite color of tiger can't be tamed yet. Still, I loveeee the new tigers. Bulky is good, and amg, the sounds. <3 I might play with sound on just to listen to my tiger roar.

Where are the tameable kitties? The ones near the Glassfin village? I'd love to get a black one.

Sloppy, Blizzard, very sloppy.
The druid cat form is the same way. >_<

hmmm so.. .fat cats and small turtles.. thats blizzard for you always making you scratch your head. I am sure its just early version of the tamed kitty and they will make it go on a crash diet before MOP comes out.
Or maybe the tigers are eating all the turtles food.. o.o
Myabe the tiger is just furry.. its all fur!!

I really dont think they're chubby/fat. It's all muscle with a bit of fur. XD
Now... I'm just being silly here... but it's starting to make me think of Muscular Pegasus.
