Okay for pvp, I would LOVE a mute button....I'll admit that full out. Cause a lot of jerkfaces just mouth off....dont STFU. -.-; Usually from pvp servers, especially during childrens week.

Well that's a little beyond the scope I originally had in mind, but now that you mention it, that would make sense...

Think about it...the BG chat...the big shots going "OMG U ALL SUCK! PVE PEOPLE SHOULDNT BE HERE! GTFO!" and crap like that....XD

Honestly it's the difference between say Darnell, who just quietly does his thing and moves on to the next target (with some humorous stoner mumbling) and the nerdrager who follows up with /slap, /rude, /spit, /GY_camp etc that makes me loathe PVP.

Indeed. I might actually enjoy pvp with a bit ol' mute button. Make the derpfaces shut the hell up.

I generally ignore bg chat, focusing instead on what's going on in front of me and on the minimap. Helps when you basically know where to go for the big picture.

Anyone super-spammy I put the /ignore whammy on because after all, if they're busy spamming bg chat, they're not playing.

Yeah but I got a habit of reading it cause as a raider, I keep an eye on the chat due to our best healer lacking a mic.
