I found some tameable Spiders in the queen's forest on the hill behind the hunting lodge. They have ranged poison attacks and they can web targets. They are a bit creepy but a surprisingly nice pet.
P.S. first time poster but longtime lurker.

Was the first cave you were searching also along that wall/creek? I know there's one off in the snow there too, with no juvies.

Its a bit south where that white bridge goes over the creek if that makes sense.
Also, STILL looking for the white moa. @_@

Haha, I'm totally trying to find a white moa too >.< But it's turning into quite the challenge since my newbie ranger is level 6 and I'm already in a level 10ish zone... At this rate, I'll be aggroing things halfway across the world before I find it.
Might have to wait until next beta D:

I think part of the issue, at least from what I saw, was that the servers were so over run with people it was hard to find any pet to charm. I know it took me a bit just to get a bear. I have a Norn ranger.

It was also a beta too though. Plus they'll probably add more in. The juvenilles cant be attacked or killed so someone killing them isnt really an issue.

Borlis was nice and tiny compared to some of them so I didn't have many issues finding them once I knew where to look. That said, I caved and went to the Mists to just cheat and have access to all the pets.
Oh yeah, ARMORFISH.

I just wanted to post and say thank you for this list. During this last BWE, I was making a master list of pets for my guild and ran across this post during my search. I used information from here as well as GW2Guru, and this list here was especially helpful. Thank you! I hope this helps you guys out:

No problem! Some of the locations aren't updated here, btw--check

I'm diving into this headfirst and just making a website for it, lol.
I will list pets by family, including max level statistics, locations (with maps, eventually), skills, a pet guide, a pet name generator and more.
Massive workload inc, but it'll be fun I think

Will do!
The basic layout will look something like this (this is the "guide" page; the main page & pet details pages will of course look much different, but the color scheme/banner will remain the same):
Imgur - Click Me!
Opinions & suggestions are welcome; I'm kind of just wingin' it

Beautiful layout. My only suggestion is maybe lighten it up a wee bit.

Cool, thanks--should I lighten the background behind all the text, or the links, or both, do you think?

The black text on the darkish green bg looks a little off. Perhaps add a box behind the text with the same lighter green that is in your header.

I actually like the black on green. If you have to change anything, I'd probably say make the table background lighter and probably a bit less saturated but I like it as is. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all, I find it really easy to read.

Welp, my eyes are shit and it looks wonky to me.
