Quite a charmer! What are their housing requirements?

They're pretty much identical to crested geckos. Both are quite easy to care for. They require no lighting or heating, as long as your room temperature is stable that's all they need. Humidity is mostly misting them once or twice a day, providing a water dish and a hide. They prefer height to width as they're climbers, though crested geckos moreso. Gargoyle geckos aren't quite as agile at climbing surfaces, but give them some vines and plants and they love it. All in all they're quite low maintenance as far as reptiles go, really good for beginners as long as you do your research.

Thought I'd do a little update. ^^
Ziggy is doing very well! He got a fancy new enclosure a few weeks ago instead of his little temporary plastic container.

I wanted to see if I could get some photos of his dramatic colour changes from when I first got him, but he's so hyper now it's impossible to keep him still! These are the least blurry images I managed to get. Hopefully I'll get some more detailed shots in the future.







He's usually the pale grey colour in the early mornings while he's in his hide, but once he's out in the evening he likes turning this dark brown colour which camouflages perfectly with the climbing vines and faux rock wall of his habitat.

I caught Ziggy hanging from his vine in this adorable position and managed to grab a photo before he pulled himself up. <3
