Well...he wouldn't consider what he did a mistake, tho I would, but that's just me.

Imperius has been making mistakes for a while now, especially with his hatred towards humans. Him and Tyrael used to be on friendly terms with each other, but after the incident in this animation and then the vote for Sanctuary, he has been slipping up and started to cause problems in the High Heavens. Even tho he commands the armies, no one on the council will side with him and he's started to become a tyrant of sorts. Being the Archangel of Valor, he's got pride issues, heh.

There was something interesting said (and if Imperius is still alive at the end of D3) that if the demons are gone, who will the angels turn their wrath on next? Could be an expansion for D3, cause Imperius could focus all his hate on the humans then. There's also an archangel missing in the game right now too...I'll give you three guesses which one heh. The hint is in the poem that Deckerd says.

And the mistake I refer to on Tyrael happens in the last cinematic.

I know which one is missing...Tyrael replaces the missing one. x3 Though that still leaves a spot open.

I think eventually we will be having to fight Imperius. He's becoming...corrupt.

Heh, you caught it. He's been missing for about 20 years now too. There's something in the game that tells you roughly where he went (supposedly he's in Pandemonium and went crazy). With the two Sin demons in Diablo (Lust and Gluttony), I can see Imperius possibly becoming Wrath or Pride (in the Book of Cain, it's mentioned that Valor comes with the fatal flaw of Pride). Plus the dude just absolutely hates humans, and Tyrael now more than ever, probably as much as he hates demons. Should be interesting.

I has good eye for details when it comes to story and plot. The hints were big.
