I should have posted here weeks ago, but the whole cancer thing has had me a bit out of it for the past month. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much this thread - and all the other posts and comments and e-mails - have really helped. I have trouble interacting with people when I'm anxious, but I have been logging in and reading when I can ... and just seeing people pulling for me has been a huge boost.

My surgery starts in about twelve hours, by the way. I may not have a chance to log in again until early next week. But I downloaded the cards and set them up as a slideshow on my laptop so I can see them at the hospital.

Thinking of you and sending the best of luck for the surgery! This community wouldn't exist without you, we're all here for emotional support and well wishes.

Mania you are in my thoughts and prayers! My family has had a long line of cancer in us, in fact every member that has passed away since I was born had died due to cancer related issues. So thus is a very close issue to me.

I am really hoping that you come back with a smile on your face and a healthy return! Best of luck, you are in my thoughts and prayers!
