2 questions..

What happened to Jaina's hair?

What are those freakishly adorable turnip critters?

Her hair goes that colour after that event shes in or something.

Yea but its more just, why did they leave the one streak of blonde in it.. she is gorgeous with the blonde hair but looks like a hag with grey hair, and the streak of blonde isnt helping the case much.. :S

Maybe her hair changed color due to stress - most of it, anyway.

She looks like Jaina the Grey to me.

I like Jaina's new hair. It's kind of a reverse of the stereotypical "witch with one white streak" thing. It'll be interesting to see how angry she's become.. whether she's turning insane or just wickedly vengeful. Hopefully the latter... I'm sick of more characters becoming insane every xpac.

I agree on no more good characters becoming insane and evil. <.<

Can't wait to read Jaina's upcoming book to see wtf happened. O_o

From the dialog she's not quite going insane, just cracking the S###'s. She's lost a lot of love, if not all, for the horde and she just had a gut full. No chance anymore with green Jesus (aka thrall), Garrosh she wants to stick a fork in his eye, and under his leadership, her holiday house in Theramore was totally trashed. To make matter worse, it was where she had all her favorite hair dye stored too. Now she cant cover her greys she's officially put on her cranky pants.

I've got to say that turnip is one of the cutes things I've ever seen. Although the carrot might be just a bit more cute ;P

As fot Jaina, there's something in her hair that bothers me. It somehow looks more like oh-lol-got-a-white-paint-bucket-on-my-head than the hair actually going white. Maybe if the remaining blonde streak wouln't be so smoothly-on-the-botrder...

Because people (see: most questers) are lazy, and there's simply too much to stuff into all of the quests without giving people information overload. You and I, and many here, love our lore, but others don't want to log in to have a book thrown at them. Case in point: Cataclysm is chock-full of lore as it is, and there was STILL enough after/during making it to write four books (Stormrage, Shattering, Twilight of the Aspects, Wolfheart--in no particular order) with.

I'm guessing Jaina channeled more than a little too much magic during the Theramore scenario, and it's being reflected thusly.

I don't want to have to buy something extra to catch up to what the hell is going on in game and I should not have too really. I was confused for the longest time why there was a adult king all of a sudden untill someone pointed out to me it's in the comics, Before then all I knew was he showed up one patch!.

It's like saying if you want to know what happens to a main character in a movie go read this book I don't see why they can't do a skippable cut scene or something like that. People who don't want to watch it don't need too. They have done it before.

I think the Theramore scenario should shed some light on the events, for both sides...

And yes, I'm pissed as well for most of the Ally cata lore being contained in books >.>

Well yeah that's most likely will be the reason for her "Bah hair colouring no more!" skin change

What's funny is that after seeing Jaina's "hair", I logged into beta and noticed that all female pandas have white streaks in their hair now from a texture error...

So we said "Oh, it's not that a new model was datamined, they just screwed up a texture!"

Honestly though, isn't this why there are Barbershops and MAGIC? If she's going to leave it that way, she's just seeking attention. XP
Well, no, but it's just silly. She looks like the reverse of Rogue from X-Men or something.

(Just going to put a disclaimer on here that just because I play Horde does not mean I condone what the lore writers are doing with the Horde. I'm going to make my own Horde, with logic and common sense! And we'll solve our problems with words, and perhaps a jab in the arm now and then.)

I've been grabbing CEs since Wrath (I love the art books and soundtrack CDs), but now I feel like I have to be especially vigilant in pre-ordering as soon as it's announced. I don't want to have it, like, sell out or something just because now they have mounts too...

I'm not saying she's a death knight at all, I just think its interesting and kind of... Ironic?

Or shows a lack of imagination on blizzards part. XD

That's...sigh. She'd better not lose it. She's one of the few legitimate voices of reason we have in terms of the main characters. I'm all in favor of complicating her, but not to the extent of losing her peacemaking nature. I am also in favor of seeing her yell at everyone (read: Varian) and call them idiots, though.

Pure speculation: I doubt Thrall's going to be married long. The next complication for him has to be killing off his Mary Sue of a wife. Maybe that'll help poor Jaina's sanity as everything else goes down the tubes.
