eeeeeeeeeee yaks really did get in!!!! So happy!!

T-T The Yaks keep eluding me. I cant make it into an area with yaks since i crash every 5 seconds in those areas... so I had to settle for a water strider instead.... atleast until I can find a yak that I can reach. Any in Kun-Lai Summit is out of the question unless it is in the very upper part of the zone.

Perhaps I should just call the water strider Yak lol

The Strider, I tamed it right where I am standing on the map in northern Kun-Lai Summit.

Very glad they made these tamable. My stable slots are actually going to have to see some fairly moderate changes now. I wouldn't be too surprised if we don't get the talbuks/rams/stags/whatever but this certainly opens the doors wider and OMG THE YAKS LOOK AWESOME DO WANT! Best new pet from this whole expansion by far.

That makes me wonder... surely the family won't remain as "goats" if they continue include yaks in it. I wonder if they'll rename the family or intend to split yaks off into their own family.

Indeed. I'm going to cross fingers for the renaming because it makes it more likely we'll get the other hoofed species but I could easily see splitting it off. Shoveltusks would make a good fit in the yak family if it comes with a more generic name but still not generic enough for all the antelope/cow-type animals.

Sigh... man. I'm going to really have to look at Mia's stable. =/

I hope they don't remain goats... even though they're different animals, I'd rather not have two goats. x.x

imo, yaks should be their own family... and should have a knockback.

It is too bad that the name "Grunty" is reserved. The yaks remind me alot of them.

Oh, I may have to tame one of these and see if we bond any I do like the detail the sport.
Also... stags. I want stags in this family o.o
