My favorite land mounts are my armored bear and my Orgrimmar Champion wolf. For flying I almost always use my Netherdrake.

My mechno-hog. The moment I heard about these is the moment I wanted one for my hunter. I have a vision of Nevyc just cruises around the plains of Azeroth with his pet in his sidecar.

My hunter uses his white Talbuk for the ground, and his blue proto-drake the sky. My paladin uses his swift white steed for the ground, and his white griffon for the sky. My warlock uses a ram for the ground, and a regular old griffon for the sky.

Vicario prefers his Thunder Bluff Kodo and his Red Drake.

Casandrau usually rides a Swift Gray Wolf (Could change to the Black War Wolf or Swift Burgundy Wolf) and a Tawny Wind Rider. Makes sense since I worked harder for it than any other mount.

I have 89 mounts on my main right now. So picking one favorite to ride 90% of the time is hard to do. xD

The mounts I use most often for ground:
-Orgrimmar Wolf
-Black War Bear
-Grand Ice Mammoth
I would also use my Red Qiraji Battle Tank outside of AQ if I could. =(

For Flying:
-Flying Machine
-Armored Blue Wind Rider
-Red Drake
-Cobalt Netherwing Drake

my time lost for flying and my barons deathcharger for non flying. I get so many psts about them it makes me smile.

Ground: Black PvP Raptor
Air: Yellow Drake from CoT time run

Lazona:
"Oryndia" - Winterspring Frostsaber (the tedious rep grind (75), not the boosted one (150) - 3 days, some 4 and a bit hours' sleep, but she was Laz's!)
"Winterfield" - Violet Proto Drake (He made the world event thing totally worth it)

Kastarakov:
"Sonique" - Swift Blue Raptor (His first 60/100% speed mount - she's remained his favourite)
"Jetta" - Swift Gray Wolf (Kas seems to have an uncanny knack for bonding with female mounts...)
"Suraku" - Azure Netherwing Drake (One of the Netherwing Council, and Kas considers him to be his fatherly figure)

Tencents:
"Captain" - Celestial Steed (The parting "gift" from his parents after their unceremonius return home and subsequent exile)

On ground I use the Swift White Stormsaber.In the sky, I use the snowy gryphon.

I use my spectral tiger on my druid and flight form for flying. For my hunter I use my brewfest ram and my argent dragonhawk. Every alt uses the celestial steed lol

Ok i now have replaced my timelost with my violet proto drake as its a %310 flight mount and the time lost is not. Its time i gave it a rest must be hard work haveing a fat cow riding it all day!

For flying its either my Albino Drake or Onyx Nether Drake.
For ground I use my Swift Moonsaber or Mammoth.
I wish there was a blue wasp mount so it would look like I use my Nightshade for a mount

Ground:
Mechano-hog "Ulysses" (you know, like a battleship!)
Black war wolf "Nishrek" (also a pet)
Venomhide ravasaur "Visser" (also a pet)

Flying:
Red dragonhawk "Dawnstorm" (wtb screenshot in Silvermoon plz)
Azure netherdrake "Tyurus" (my bestest buddy)
Argent hippogryph "Pride" (to go with my Cenarion hippogryph, Glory)

There's no real favorite "must use" for flying, though I admit my veridian netherdrake and my green protodrake are among my favorites.

As far as ground mounts go, it's either Rivendare's Deathcharger or my swift white ram. He was my first epic mount at 60, and I ground out dwarf rep for what seemed like FOREVER to be able to get my little elfy butt on a ram. There are rarer mounts, and shinier ones, and more expensive ones, but my white ram will always be my favorite.

I use my ZG Raptor a lot. When I'm not using my Black War Wolf to go through doors anyway. The life of a Tauren! For flying i switch between my Violet proto-drake and my Onyx Netherwing drake.

I use the rare ones simply because they're rare-ish, but the Wolf and the Netherwing drake were mounts I had to have when I found out about them. Even if they aren't special, I love them!

For my hunter, it's the White Talbuk for the ground, and either the Blue Proto drake or the bronze drake for the air. My paladin is glued to his Swift White Steed and his Snowy White Griffin. My human warlock rides around on a War Ram on the ground, and the Celestial steed for the sky.

Rhyela now rides her Green Proto-Drake in the air! Woooo!!!......but I still haven't gotten any land mounts better than the Black War Bear. I'd still like the ZG tiger or raptor, but oh well.

My tan riding talbuk (around cities, herbing, traveling, or RPing) or war talbuk (BGs). In Northrend and Outlands I always ride a Netherdrake--I have a macro that summons one randomly, but mostly I use my green or black one.

Sochi uses her talbuks, wolves or her armored brown bear for ground travel. Her formerly favorite flyers were her red swift wyvern or the blue swift wyvern. These guys semi-retired from circling for rares and now Sochi prefers her TLPD.

Shaon loves her swift wyverns for flight, we hope to eventually get something else, a drake or something. Of her ground mounts, wolves, she has three and loves them. Her other land mounts are her Ice Mammoth (Hodir-Revered) and her Armored Brown Bear. Twice now her bear has caused her to get comments, one by a lowbie who seemed to ask without asking if I could give him 750gold for his own. (Sorry, mate, I don't give away gold like that. I work for my money) And then just last night I get another player who, "Could not put into words how jealous my bear made him." I told him that I had scrimped and saved for such a purchase.

Shaon will be going for talbuks once she's done with Hodir rep. We want that other mammoth.
