You are right! I never noticed the different ears and teeth before.
That and the horde model has a more more shaggy coat (Tauren) has tusks (troll) has it's eye art work placed lower than both the wild and alliance models (Tauren?), The antlers are much thicken and of a different horn style (Tauren) The nose is actually longer and pointier (Troll) The ears are short and round (Taruen) etc.... and this is of cause with out the obvious colour and armor differences..
I could do the same for the alliance version as well, but you get the idea
IMO they have done one of thier best combined work to date for these guys, I'm just simply in love with both the ally and horde versions.... simply wowzers

You have a much better eye for this stuff than me, so who am I to argue with you?
A faction-specific form is not something that makes much sense to me personally, but it wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't be the first time they've gone out of their way to differentiate factions with a "neutral faction" type of environment that I didn't think made sense. Racial form differences I could understand, if a bit of the natural race creeps in. But the Cenarion Circle encouraging forms based on faction pride, especially now at a time of war, seems as weird to me as the Argent Crusade apparently trying to create faction unity by making them fight each other. But oh well, story contrivances for the sake of game ends

Sorry you could be completely right, I had just woken up and still pretty groggy, and most of the things I listed could work for Worgen too. I guess is just subconsciously went off the fact the they just did a "alliance" and "horde" version of the kitty, bear and moonkin armor and just assumed (assumption is bad m'kay?)
Sorry again, wasn't thinking >.<

Im hoping these are horde and alliance colors and not night elf and worgen, which would leave troll and tauren to be works in progress cause i really, really, love the brown one as a hordie form. I got an 85 night elf druid who long ago was hellbent on getting the glyph after we found out we'd get stag forms, and im totally jumping on that wagon for my 83 and growing troll druid cause both those forms are absolutely gorgeous and i dont want to have to move onto my 53 worgen and/or my 80 or 73 taurens cause they are on different servers with no gold (i stripped the gold off my chars when i server transferred chars to nesingwary)

Dont feel bad I saw Night Elf/Worgen right off the bat too. Honestly I'd prefir it that way so they can give Troll and Tauren their own as well.

I would rather the alliance versions be Stags and the Horde versions be Buffalo, because it seems to fit the Horde better.
Either that, or they better make a Buffalo mount. I want my Buffalo that comes in Melanistic, Leucistic, Blue, Red, and Brown!
DO IT BLIZZARD, DO IT!

I'm definitely seeing it as Alliance and Horde myself, mostly due to the color (Dull and ragged for Horde, bright for Alliance) and the armor. The armor isn't the color I'd expect for Worgen; they have very cool colors with bright orange highlights usually, so the earthy browns, yellows and blues really say "Horde" to me. Very Tauren-based. I'd expect more grey if it was a Worgen form, as they are a very grey-based race already, it seems. Very muted, not as earthy and rich as the stag we're seeing.
Obviously, I could be wrong. But that's just how I see it. xD They've always made differences between factions, even when it was just two races, so that's what I thought they were doing with this.

Realism Time!
If the brown one happened to be a Deer species in World of Warcraft, what would the large bottom teeth be used for? They have antlers for fighting like many deer... but then also have tusk like a Chinese Water Deer and Musk Deer. They obviously can't use the antlers as a sexual display and the tusk as weapons against each other, seeing as the antlers are in the way of the tusk which, are not directly in front of the mouth, a common thing in animals that use their tusks in fights.
What else can they use their tusk for then? Well, then can use them to kill their prey. This animal, is a predatory deer.
What I see the animal doing is using it's antlers, during the mating season, as a way of fighting others or attracting mates with large antler size, or they can run up to their prey and flip it on it's side. It probably uses it's tusk like Big Cats do today, by biting the neck and sinking their large sharp teeth, or in this case, tusk, into the jugular and kills the animal by strangling it or bleeding it out. I'm unsure of what it would eat though, probably other deer, as they are a common prey source.
EDIT: Yeah, I know I shouldn't bring this kinda stuff into video games... but it's still interesting!
EDIT: If you don't believe that Deer can eat meat, then read this:

Don't know what that's all about... but ok.
Let's look at the tusk and antlers again.
http://media.mmo-champion.com/images/ne ... dHorde.jpg
By looking at the tusks, you can see that they are far too short to be used in fighting. Tusks that, such as the Musk Deer have, are quite long and can be compared to the antlers of other deer. The antlers on the other hand, are huge, and stretch out far in front of the face, which can obscure the usage of the tusk to be used as a weapon to fight in a battle between two males. The tusks are also very flat and broad, a characteristic of teeth in the mouths of predators.
The antlers can probably have 3 uses to them. The first one, is to show off to others of the species such as potential mates. The larger the antlers, the better the chance at mating. The second use, is pretty self-explanatory, which is fighting rivals. The third and final use is that they can trip their prey by putting the antler's near under the flank of the prey and then flipping it over, which can make the animal vulnerable to attack.
When the animal is on the ground and immobilized, it will wrap it's jaws around the neck of the animal and sink it's tusks into the prey items jugular, killing it.

It was a response that probably could have been politer, but was not in reference to the veracity of your data, but rather that you were derailing a thread about druid travel forms, not natural beasts.

I finally looked up these models in WMV and indeed the two models are called simply "druidtravelalliance" and "druidtravelhorde", with a single skin each. So currently it really does look like they intend just one form per faction.

Lamesauce. The white one screams nightelf, not worgen so much. :c

The thing I'm really confused about?
Why neither have glowing eyes… I can understand the Horde one, as neither Tauren nor Trolls have glowing eyes in any form. But *both* Night Elves and Worgen have glowing eyes in their forms, and in the case of male worgen, in natural form as well. Seems a bit out of place, even!

Just a small Update...
With the introduction of a new glyph for druids in this coming build, I'm left in the assumption that these 2 new travel form models, are going to be the new default model rather that the cheetah....?
