Do you guys know how much painting in a cartoon style hurts my brain? It hurts, so bad. XD I had fun though, and it's always good to try a different way. I think the next pet I draw, I'll go back to my painterly self.

Any votes on what family I should do?

Here's a secret, btw...my reference for anatomy was a pic of a very small French bulldog puppy. :D Oh yeah, I went there.

Hrm, old basilisk? I could do that, cause the new ones kind of freak me out. ^_^'

That's all kinds of wicked. Looks cooler than the concept art for them!

Lol Qra, don't be such a flatterer. ^_^

Kalli, wtf, basilisk anatomy is retarded! Six legs! Scales and hair! Is it a mammal, or a reptile! *sulks* I bet it has teats so it can nurse its fanged young too. It's like a lion and a croc made sweet backwater love, and then hatched a baby.

>_>

And here I was just trying to avoid saying "porcupines plz." ;)

OL basilisks are slightly less weird, since they lack hair. xD

Awwwwwww, I'll do porcupines after basilisks. :) And yeah, maybe I'll do an OL basilisk, maybe not, I'll try doing both styles before I settle on painting one.

Just a warning, I like terrestrial porcupines more than WoW ones, so it will probably look more like one of those, okay? :)

Long as it's badass, it's artist's choice. xD Love your style!

Aw, tyvm Doomie. But secretly, every color on his body is in a seperate layer in Photoshop, so I can pretty easily flip a switch around and change any color to a different color. Hm, maybe I should do all four colors, since I've already done two...
