for any French speaking people, that is probably THE saddest song ever written.
it's from the Michel Legrand musical film "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg".
just hearing the first notes of the song is enough to bring tears to the eyes.
using it in the context of this Futurama episode was.. pure torture. It was perfect.

I can usually manage through most of the sad cartoon stuff, but the scene in UP when Carl's wife Ellie died made me cry like a baby.
