The 'burrowing worm' types would be sort of nifty to have tameable...when they're running beside you they could stay submerged with just that rubble shaking on the surface until they come out to attack.

From the new screenshots of Kezan, there is a sign that has a curious looking ferret/mongoose type of creature on it:

It certainly doesn't look like anything that exists in game right now. I wonder if it might possibly be a new beast?

Unfortunate ... err ... bolt? there towards the bottom. But yes, very weasel-like! That would be cool.

Why does this shark make me think "Toothless"? I haven't even seen that movie. Must be the eyes.

Money says we'll get Jormungar looking worms that are fiery instead of icy.

Incidentally, Blizzard has stated that the NDA is still in effect for current testing.

However, I believe that the information on MMO Champion and YouTube is widespread enough that we are doing no harm by discussing it here. So I've updated the Spoilers and Leaks announcement to match.

Personally I don't like the Kobolds... Kobolds have ALWAYS been a burrowing lizardy-rat-thing-person, Whether in WoW, DnD, or others... Those look like freaking gnomes with candles on their heads... I also hope the skins they showed won't replace current ones, b/c I like our current turtles (And Kobolds) Mucho Mas... But very cool non-the-less.

They may have just used the name kobold for lack of something better at the moment...I doubt they'll replace the rat creatures.

I hope so too Cinnia! I'd love to tame a fox on my existing Blood Elf or possibly on a new human or goblin hunter.
