and im tempted to draw a smallish comic about Ardor the champion of meatran.
This is going to become a running joke I think

Changed up a char, made neutral an actual side.

Yes, it looks like Giratina is outnumbered, however Giratina's side will be similar to the Dusk (for those who remember), as it will have plenty of NPC spirits and whatnot for conflict.

I think I will just watch this as all I can think of is a Magikarp that goes around hyperbeaming fools. XD

Don't worry about skill Starkittens, I am not that good at RP myself, but hey, doing things like this is how we learn right? Besides, if you want to give it a go, this is a great group of people who are willing to help each other out

And I'm as rusty as an old door hinge with group role play, so this will be a nice ease back into multiple people. :)



I do have to ask though, how are we planning on keeping things in check?
Like if one person doesn't reply for a couple days but their character is with a group of other characters who have more active role players? Do the others just keep going and leave the other character behind or would it just be sort of unspoken "character follows along without saying anything much"?

We often go with the unspoken character is just quietly tagging along route, that way when the player does get caught up, they can jump back in. (Unless of course they choose to do something different.)

Oh we won't bite Star. <3 You'll never know if you'll have fun with this or not unless you join up. And if at any point you need help, we're willing to provide it.

Star im not sure if you saw my rping skills when I first started on petopia but I can tell you this much.
Everybody has to start somewhere, lucky for you this isn't an elitist rping forum and people of all skill are welcomed.

Gender: Female
Age: Late teens/young adult, she lost track of her true age years ago.
Species: Dewott
Typing (For Hybrids/Delta Types): Water
Patron: Kyogre
Faction (Arceus or Giratina?): Arceus
Appearance:Dewa
Personality: Dews has a nasty temper, and is known for her dislike of other Pokemon. She shows no mercy for those who she deems as weak. She is also incredibly stubborn.
History: Dews history begins when her mother, Sams a Samurott, Disappeared. Dews searched for a long time on her own, before finally going and seeking out Kyogre for help. Even with Kyogre's help though, Dews still could not find her mother. Kyogre Was still impressed at the young Dewott's determination to find her mother, and so named her his Champion, with the hopes that the Dewott's determination to find her mother will also help in the Search for Arceus.
Notable Abilities: Dew's most notable ability is a variation of Razor Shell, which she calls Ice shell. Instead of just pure energy forming around her shells, Dews freezes the energy, creating a curving blade of Ice. It has a small chance to freeze her opponent.
Weakness: Her shells. Though these are also the thing to watch out for, if Dews loses these, or they get stole, she's pretty much defenseless, as most of her attacks are using her shells. She only knows one move, Water Gun, that doesn't involve using her Shells
Relations: Sams, her mother, who is Currently missing. Dews has no Trainer.

Hey, guys? I have something to ask you. One of my really good real life friends is interested in possibly joining this RP. She's pretty awesome, and I RP with her a LOT. She doesn't really do forum-style RP, but I'm pretty sure she can get used to it. Only thing is, she's not interested in WoW in the least, so she'd be joining for this RP only. While I don't see that as a problem (And neither does Azu.), I just wanted to run it past the rest of you. Just to be safe. XD

Personality: She's much like a young adventurer, always excited to find new things, always looking for a taste of something more. She does get a bit paranoid around dead things, such as ghost types, or corpses even. She's mostly nervous around Giratina it seems.
She has this huge appetite for shiny things and loves hoarding them. She'll do whatever it takes to get shiny things as well if it means killing or even stealing, this routes from the fact that Choronekos love stealing. She seems to want more ever since she died
History: She was born and raised near Nacrene city. Like most purrloins she was if anything a notorious thief.
She didn't like to trick people with acting all cutesy, she preferred a little more action. She had snuck around stealing things and if that didn't work she would use a little more force, if that doesn't succeed she'll usually try to escape.
As a child her father told her stories of his previous adventures he had with his trainer, he was after all abandoned. She had grew up dreaming about the different things she could get obtain. Gold, foreign jewels, rare stones she had dreamed about finding such things on her adventures, she however had one huge fear in her way: death.
She had managed to survive to the age of a young adult. One day she was attempting to steal a rare bone, something with a huge price on.
She was about to grab the bone when she was caught redhanded and then killed by the guardmon.
In the afterlife she just wouldn't stop shaking, she hadn't gone to reverse world yet but there was someone coming to bring her. She had begged, she did everything she could to come back alive again. The only option was to sell her soul, her soul while not completely clean, was free of the Reverse worlds taint.
Such souls were hard to obtain and so Giratina had agreed to keep her soul in exchange that she stay alive, The only thing was she has to remain completely loyal to the grim Reaper for the upcoming war, he did own her soul after all.
Notable Abilities: She sneaky and swift, and great and running away.
She's very good at using the 'avoid and hit' tecnique
Weakness: She's still very afraid of death and will try and use all sorts bribery to not die.
She is extremely found of anything shiny or rare. She's easy to take out once you got her down
Relations: Family she hasn't talked to in awhile.

Her joining just for this RP is fine by me.
Besides, I figure that joining a forum is more about interacting with the people on it more than it is the continuous discussion of whatever it is that the forum was about.
Or something. Sorry, I only just woke up and I've had far too little sleep, so I hope I managed to make some sense there. <_>

Indeed. And if anyone has a problem, they can either deal with it or let me know. I enjoy telling people to grow up and get over themselves and stop being silly.

All the rest of my Pokemon Character's background are so messed up and twisted.....
