Wow. If this is really going to be a Kirin mount then I am VERY excited. I've always pictured my druid, Escarina, as having a wild kirin for her companion and mount.

She totally fits into pandaria.

Oooh, it looks to be using the Talbuk skeleton? I do hope it gets skinned nicely. Can't tell if it will be hit or miss until I see the skin that gets put over the model, but I have high hopes for it.

When I first saw it I thought it was going to be a holiday mount for winters viel. That would be one riendeer who takes his deliveries...very very seriously.

In case anyone's wondering what the eff the 'kirin' some of us are going on about look like.

Granted, it shifts features based on who's doing the art, whether it's Japanese or Chinese, and other factors, but the same can go for the unicorn of myth.

This made my day so much you would not even believe it. XD (Cobalion is one of my favourite Pokemon ever. I even tamed Stompy and named him Cobalion the other day.) And the funny thing is, when I showed my mom the untextured model yesterday, she was like "It looks like Cobalion!" XD


Beyond Pokemon nerdism, I am very much excited to possibly have a real kirin (Well, technically qilin. Curse you Blizz for naming the lion dogs Quilen. XD) in the game. I'll be getting this mount, no matter what it takes. XD

Cause you know there was all that controversy, and it's a vaguely fierce looking goat-pony, from what I can tell from the untextured model. You know, it looks like it could fit the worgen. BUT WAIT. THERE CAN BE A RAID DROP ONE OR A STORE DROP ONE JUST DON'T HURT ME EVERYONE CAN HAVE ONE EVEN IF MY ALLIES CAN'T HAVE A STINKIN' WOLF MOUNT

You know you are probably right. Maybe it was the angle making it look a little shorter length wise and the back legs made me think Talbuk, but now that I look at the horse model it might be. I don't care for the in game horses that much so I don't normally use/ride them and aren't too familiar with them. I do love my cobalt Talbuk though. Either way, I do hope it gets skinned nicely.

It does look based on the Fiery Warhorse/Deathcharger model, yeah.

I can't wait to see this thing textured. It looks bloody awesome.

No matter where this mount will come from, I will grind like no tomorrow until I get it when it's introduced.

Since it's called a Windsteed, i'm assuming that this is also going to be a flying mount? Very very VERY EXCITED.

I hope that they skin it well. ^^

Kirin mount would be AWESOME!!!! If it becomes a Blizz store mount, well I wont complain at that, since that would be (for me) probably the only way I would actually be able to obtain it.
