This....is a slightly silly tame.

Hector had previously transitioned from Old Cliff Jumper to Deathmaw, since he was always intended to be the dark brown worg. However, Deathmaw never felt like Hector to me. Grovepaw, however, did. I could see him fitting personality-wise with OCJ and Hector.

So....this screenshot is basically the same as other screenshots I've taken with Hector, but he's more himself than ever.

Sunwing <3 I haven't gotten a picture of Ethereal yet. xD Too tired. But I grabbed this while I was thinking about it. It's the only rare I had my eye on this whole process, even after the armor got removed, something occurred to me and now I'm attached to the dark skin. Perhaps even more so than the armored version. I'm still working on a name.

Much kudos and thanks to everyone who was there with me. Junrei, Aleu, Phantomwolf, various and numerous people whose Petopian names I can't remember/never learned and whose hunter names are already slipping my mind because I have piss poor short term memory.

I was able to tame my beautiful girl, Kiyohime, this morning at 6 AM. There was no one at the spawn point, which is a bit of a shock. She was just sitting there waiting for me.

I had SO much trouble taking a picture that did her justice.. and I haven't seen a single pic that really does. Mine is particularly crappy.. I'm lousy at taking screenshots!

But I am WAY more in love with this gorgeous beast than I ever imagined I could be.

I apologise for the bad quality of mine, but hey, it's the pet that counts anyway. I went on a taming spree today, but am only posting the new skins that came out in this patch, not the yellow shale spider, etc.
I only have the gorgeous red arcane serpent to get; hopefully I'll get lucky tomorrow morning.

Hopefully he'll be "the one" I've been looking for in wind serpents. I'd like to think of myself as a dedicated reptile tamer but I'm yet to find a wind serpent I can stick to.

This one is not exactly a tame, but it's still a new pet introduced in 5.1!

Sunwing was mean, but I think he was just testing me. I'm glad I held out. I never realized how gorgeous this skin is in-game. o.o

Acroniss was being camped so, being a Night Elf, and therefore partial to purple, I decided to go to the Nexus. I tamed Arcaniss easily and then headed over to Dragonblight to check out the blue ones but decided I liked the purple better. I may still try for Acroniss but for now, this one is cool. I don't care for the white ones at all.

Got this one earlier today, was a royal biatch to get. Named her Tiadeth, which means 'magic eternal' on one of the the elven language pages i have saved for coming up with random names for pets and whatever else

I tamed this guy earlier, and I love him. He's just shockingly gorgeous.

He may be just another red core hound, but I ended up becoming attached to Magmagan after constantly seeing him all alone in his little area by Black Mountain. I soon found myself always stopping by to hug him when coming from/going off to check for Sunwing, who I still haven't gotten (nor Arconiss, either. Meh.).



I named him Shy, because he'd rarely come up to me when I was watching him earlier, and when I moved closer, he continued keeping his distance untill he finally decided to come over and nibble on me. I absolutely love him, he's such a clumsy, loveable puppy.

That sums him up to a tee! Glad he's gotten tamed.

That is an absolutely bedazzling shot you got of that serpent! Such vibrant colour! Gah, now I wanna tame him too just as I had settled my heart on the purple one. Dang nabbit!
