Re: What are your views on people that kill rare beasts?

It depends on the rare.
If it's a tamable, I leave it be or call someone over. Loque I won't kill - though I still need him for that stupid, guilt inducing achievement.
I remember feeling upset and a little betrayed when a hunter I showed where Krush was KILLED the dino because I had asked if anyone wanted to tame him. She had whispered 'yea i wanna tame' then /loled, killed it and flew off.
Needless to say, she occupies a place on my ignore list these days.
I know I've been tempted to kill them under someone who stole it from me, but then they'll just come back, so...
I don't really kill the 25g dropping ones, because I remember how much of a pain it was to get them BEFORE CRZ (Thanks, Blizz. Worst. Feature. EVER. One of wow's best features was moving through zones seamlessly. So much for that.). And the flavor text indicates that yeah, they generally ARE there for the hunters. Thankfully blizz learned and gave us trackable rares.
I'm leaving the new tamable rares alone, and unless it has a good chance of dropping a good 'mog item I want, I leave the low level ones for a lowbie who could use the drop/XP.
