That's a pretty clever find! Well done. :)

The skin use for the raptor feels slightly like a placeholder to me, but only time will tell. I'm kinda wishful for a whole new raptor skin in likeness to the new devilsaur ones? Maybe? Pretty please? :D I have to agree about the good size of the direhorn; I really hope they keep them around what it is right now.
Eh I didn't find out about it myself... Just saw someone yelling in trade chat for people to queue for LFR to get there... The one time I'm glad I left trade chat on :P

Ahh, I see. Though, I think there's still some gratitude due towards you for selflessly sharing the information onwards to other eager testers. ;) So thank you either way!

I wonder if they're the same size as Rhinos. I think Rhinos are a little bit bigger.

Could it be possible to get a few screen shots of the new Devilsaur skin, pet please? I really liked the green one. And I'd like to see how yours sizes beside you and how the skin looks "Small".

I saw someone with a direhorn in the alliance city so I did some size comparisons with a rhino. Thanks to the hunter!

Edit: now that i am on the island, as soon as I tame a direhorn, I will do a much better comparison shot.

Was that the only color Direhorn you saw? I mean I'd take it but I like the Blue one better.

Junrei wrote:I got a feeling Dire Horns will become exotic since you need a 'special ability' to tame them. Honestly, least in my opinion, they seem to be more of an exotic feel than just any person with a bow than tame these creatures and it'd make no sense to have Devilsaurs be exotic but not Dire Horns.
Since when does everything in the game make sense? :D

Theres a red one that has the quest objective symbol, not tameable. There is a boss armored yellow but you can't beast lore it, even though its a beast. There is a mount yellow version walking around, not tameable.

Yellow is only one tameable at this very early stage.

Ickabob wrote:I sneaked onto Thunder Isle to do some exploring (and catch a Dire Horn pet) when I happened upon a new tamable devilsaur, Kroshik!
He patrols around the Saurok area on the southeastern section of the isle and is pretty hard to miss, given that he's so big. He respawns almost instantly, so he'll always be up.
When trying to tame him, be careful as he seems like he can interrupt taming and also hits for 80k - 180k dmg. Simply Wyvern Sting or Freezing Trap him and you'll be fine. :)
Both Kroshik and the yellow/brown dire horn are lovely! Can't wait to tame them!

Hurm. They do look a little, little. Conversely if they got TOO much bigger they'd be kinda annoying. Maybe 10% bigger might be nice. But not more than that.

Any good shots of the new Devilsaur model?

I saw that one. :) It's nice, but it shows the pretty wolfie more than the lizard.

*waits on LFR queue* The sooner I get in, the sooner I can toss up a preview video. :) So uh, queue alliance side please! :D Hopped into Pinnacle of Storms Last Stand (since you can apparently drown in there! thanks Melissa <3) - just needing tanks and healers now, mostly....

Hmm...still not liking the jaws on the new devilsaurs...don't have the extreme curves of the old ones that I liked, makes it look like it has a less powerful bite.

I hops they increase the size of the direhorns a bit...or else they'll look too tiny compared to my draenei. It already loks too small next to a human...
