True, I don't want to deny anyone their sporcs, I just don't see anything there that compels me to try to get the BM rotation mess working for me.

I'mma throw a [Mostly likely] unpopular opinion out here and say that if they were to put in a ghostly devilsaur, I would rather have it as it's actual family. I've enough spirit beasts in my stable as it is and since my main spec is and has always been BM since I started my toon, I don't really have much need for a wolf as I run with the devils for my +5% crit.
I have five SB 'shinies' as it is and I just got through cutting that down from six and that's from cutting down from around eight in the first place. I'm one of those people that actually really ENJOY the spectral skins, but I really would be bummed if it was another spirit beast. >.< I really do like a tad of extra utility on occassion, even if I don't raid anything other then LFR where it doesn't matter.

Well, in that regard, the sprit beasts are getting to be like cats, a LOT of models. We really are past the point of "tame them all".
It also doesn't help that they've lost their top spot as far as the buff goes as well. Of course, that's a good thing if you'd rather run with other pets.

I agree! I realized that sometime around the end of cataclysm. I love my SBs, but taming them all just ended up eating up so much of my stable and there are so many other fun pets to have!
Until something comes out that I absolutely can't live without, I am refraining from taming anymore spirit beasts currently! I hope everyone enjoys their hunt and challenge tame for the new Porcupines though!

This would be neat as a regular pet....like some of the wolf ghost skins. But either way it is beautiful...I might have missed it but IS it tameable even?

Sadly no, as I said in the original post I made the creature is, currently, not even targetable.

(Unless it was changed very recently. I haven't checked back since I made the post. Should probably go and do that now!)
