Yeah, but this is Blizzard we are talking about...Zhinru wrote:That would surely count as announced, though?Slickrock wrote:or new character models...
Would be awesome.Royi wrote:Gnome Hunters
Guild would be next. Might help stabilize guilds somewhat. Cross realm guilds would be a huge plus for that as well.Teigan wrote:We're kinda already getting player housing by buying the farm from Yoon.
I concur.Slickrock wrote:Would be awesome.Royi wrote:Gnome Hunters
Indeed, even if it's not 'official player housing', it's a step in that direction. Since that was already announced, it's unlikely it'll be anything of that kind. I'm hoping for the new player models myself.Teigan wrote:We're kinda already getting player housing by buying the farm from Yoon.
Same, I'd love to see Undead females get redone. I love them but I think they can work on their hands. They've got bony fingers, which is fine but their idle animation I've noticed sometimes makes their fingers go through their hands. Humans obviously need it, as well as dwarfs(badly) and poor Tauren. (I feel for ya female Tauren you're always ripped off of getting cute hairstyles >.<)Junrei wrote:Indeed, even if it's not 'official player housing', it's a step in that direction. I personally don't consider it player housing at all; it paves the way for the mechanics but has zero personalisation to your characters. I wanted it to be player housing, I really did, but once you get all the NPCs to exalted and forced to take whatever they decide to give you in whatever amount they give you (seriously where's my goats on my farm?) there's just nothing left to improve or change or even move around (outside of the crop mini-game); adding work orders won't fix that, it's just a few new quests.Teigan wrote:We're kinda already getting player housing by buying the farm from Yoon.
Didn't think about that. Cross-faction groups (and maybe a chance of getting rep with the other guys...) would be perfect for me.Ickabob wrote:Cross faction raiding? With Garrosh Hellscream being a threat to both the Horde and Alliance, this could be the perfect excuse to implement this long requested feature.
No offense but I'm not sure how this would work seeing as horde and alliance can't even understand each other. I suppose they could make it so they could but I'm not sure I'd see an human want to learn Orcish anytime soon.Ickabob wrote:Cross faction raiding? It's ok, he doesn't have to, orcs are supposed to speak common.Doctress wrote:No offense but I'm not sure how this would work seeing as horde and alliance can't even understand each other. Unless the other horde races can speak it there's still a roadblock there that makes it feel to me like this will never and can never happen.Zhinru wrote:It's ok, he doesn't have to, orcs are supposed to speak common.Doctress wrote:No offense but I'm not sure how this would work seeing as horde and alliance can't even understand each other. What about all the neutral factions like Argent Crusade and Cenarion Circle? They are able to speak to alliance and horde and have members from many different races. Lore wise, language isn't a barrier. It's something that's only in place as a game mechanic to further segregate the two sides.Doctress wrote:Unless the other horde races can speak it there's still a roadblock there that makes it feel to me like this will never and can never happen.
But those factions are neutral. Therefore it makes sense that they learn the other races languages. That being said I wouldn't expect a Cenarion Tauren who's speaking Tuarhe(sp?) to a Tauren to be understood by a human who he then turns around and speaks common to the human while the horde Tauren stands by bewildered.Ickabob wrote:What about all the neutral factions like Argent Crusade and Cenarion Circle?
