I remember I tamed Loque'nahak the very first time I ever went to Sholazar on my Hunter, but then it took me a good 3.5 weeks of camping to get King Krush. (after seeing him get killed in front of me 6 times) Keep at it and eventually your patience will pay off, even if you go insane first.
