...Am I the only one still waiting for Blizzard to make good on their promise?

Back in wrath beta, when the bear cub was found to be tameable, they said they don't want it tameable because it's not meant for bigger models, but they'll keep in mind some hunters want "cute" pets, as they didn't think anyone did.

We've yet to get a cute pet. Yes, some are "cute" to people, but you know what I mean. The chibi cuteness that people refer to as cute.

There have been LOTS of chibi cute pets. Minipets. The entire minipet battling system is no doubt part of Blizzard keeping their promise.

I'd say worms and porcupines also fall under the category of cute "chibi" pets.

While this pet isn't really my cup of tea, and I sincerely doubt it'll stick around, I hope folks enjoy it while they can. Just keep in mind, trying to keep it "hush hush" is sort of a pointless gesture when you're on one of the biggest and most well-known hunter forums in existence.

They control the scaling of pets on an ID by ID basis. There is nothing to say they HAVE to blow up a hunter's pet. Porcupines are tiny. Would it kill them to give us tameable baby raptors, direhorns, etc. the same size?

@Azu, Worms and Porcupines are far from cute, at least to me. They are cute to some people, but they're not the chibi cuteness.

Yeah, though I find this model (and the baby raptors, bear and crocs) a bit stranger when enlarged, compared to the worms and porcs. They look like giant soft toys

Plus there's the fact I'd feel unethical not mentioning it to Noah. so it was reported at the same time this thread was created

Baby direhorn, baby gorilla, baby raptors, tiger cubs, bear cubs, chibi moth.. I wish we can tame them and they would retain a slightly larger size, bigger than a battle pet that is.

Anyone have these guys up on their server for US? I've hopped to about 4 and raptors every time. -- nvm, they became live on mine today ^^

We have compies. Which are basically baby raptors at an extremely small size. Why not for the direhorn too? just shrink it down. gg

SO I am not on the PTR. but I couldnt help it. I have an empty stable slot. so just incase. I nabbed one of the live ones <_< heres hoping. if not..eh, no biggie

I nabbed one to, you never know. but I'd say the chances of the ID staying the same is pretty darn slim. we'll see.

can you get these xserver? I have been looking for them but have only found raptors so far.

Thank you but I just checked with a friend who had them and I could not see them. I think I am stuck on my server's island phase and just have to wait.

Did you actually phase? Sometimes you need more than one person from the server in order to trigger the phasing. I've phased to the Island before with a different quest stage phase and it worked fine.

I think so but i guess it wouldnt hurt to give it another try.

how did you do that? in 3 days there are always baby dinos for me..

He invited two of his 90 toons to the group to make sure that I was forced to his server, which he knew had the dinos. Also this may have had no importance whatsoever but I was in group before I took the portal to the island.
