Heh, while I'm glad this means I only need to pine over one console instead of two (I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Wii U but I didn't want both Xbox and Playstation), this does mean one thing that I don't like: Playstation has almost no competition now. Here's to hoping they don't get corrupt and lazy with that power! They own the market, if the Xbox One turns out as horrendous as it looks.

And before you say "What about the Wii U?", I don't count it in the same market. It's not that it's bad, far from it, but the games for that system tend to have a very different feel and focus compared to Playstation/Xbox games, and (in general) most games can't be shared between Wii and Playstation/xbox, while many games can be shared between the playstation and the xbox. It's a different genre in general, it has been for a long time.

Yeah the WiiU is more of a family console and the PS/Xbox is more for "gamers". Or something around those lines.

EDIT: in bore someone goes on about it the Wii does have "gamer" games too. Bayonetta 2 is WiiU only after all :3 and there are many more too.

Remember those awesome graphics they showed at E3?
Turns out those weren't being played on Xbox Ones but on PCs and one of the demo machines for the Xbox One crashed to the windows desktop mid play. Which turned out the controller wasn't even plugged into the fake Xbox One but a PC using an Nivida Card where the Xbox uses AMD only because its "better".

Also Witcher 3 is being pulled from the XBone too. Why? They decided to region block Poland. For those who don't know, that's where the company that makes the series is located. They also region blocked Singapore which has 99.9% connection rate.

Oh don't forget that if your xbox live account gets banned you loose ALL YOUR GAMES. Can't get them back. It's not like Steam where they just stop you from getting new games you just loose them forever!

P4gaming is a satire site, from what I understand? And I can't find this information anywhere else. I did believe it at first, though, which just proves how idiotic Microsoft has been this year.

Well, I know that it's only available in 21 countries (and, oddly enough, not Japan), so that might be what you're seeing.

Well Japan has never been a big Xbox place. They sell very little there. They tend to like the consoles that come from Japan. :S

Hoax or not, the fact many believe it to be true means Microsoft REALLY screwed up for it to be easily believable.
