How can a new member steal all your stuff from the guild bank?

I get new members, and they stay "initiate" rank for at least a month before getting very limited guild bank access.
You can limit the number of withdrawals, the amount of gold for repairs, whether they can withdraw stacks or only discrete items. You can set ranks to require an authenticator (which greatly reduces the chances of hacked officers).

I've always been generous with new members, particularly low-level ones. I've always helped them out with some gold, new larger bags, etc...

And almost every single time, they've left the guild a week later, without a thank-you, nothing.

So I've taken to assuming the worst in all new members. until they prove otherwise. sad, but, I have to protect my sanity as well.

I've had to become a lot more cautious with the gbank. At first I was very loose and trusted my members. I didn't have an incident for a long time til someone ruined that. I now have it set up based on level.

Yeah. It just makes it easier for those people to abuse the game, cause they know that there is no concequences..
I know that it's also the guild leader's responsibility on whom they invite, but there is always those types that seem real, and end up being exploiters.
Lucky for me the people in my guild I know in real life too, so I can always kick their asses if they steal something. :P

True true. And yeah, those were people that stole from my guild, people that I thought were cool, promoted them, then they swiped what they could and laughed in my face.

That really sucks. :(
That's one of the reasons why I'm very careful and probably too strict with my guild. I only invite people that are over 25, and who are willing to tell me what their real names are and where they live. If they can't do that, I'm not letting them join. And that's because I have had so many very young people join my guild only to beg for boosts, gold and promotes, and if they didn't get that they'd flip out and leave, while using all the swear words they knew. And my guild is not a big raid guild or anything. Just a small group of real life friends having fun. Maybe we are a bit closed as a group, but at least we're not getting our bank ninjaed.
