Not at all. But no one is perfect. We ALL have made responses like that if not worse so it's not right to really condemn another for just being human. Making a snarky response every now and then for whatever reason doesn't automatically make you the worst person on the planet.

Or if you were a ret paladin and suffered through "to the ground", and our own BM to the ground nerf in Wrath.

But GC has been better recently, and really led the way with communicating with the playerbase.

I'm pretty sure all of us here have suffered but GC is not the man that makes the call for nerfs and buffs. He is apart of a TEAM. He's just the figure head like the President of the US is.

My issues haven't been with decisions made by Blizzard and announced by GC.
Rather, it's been about his general attitude with the player-base and his comments regarding how HE thinks players should be paying the game

Most of the stuff about him of which I am aware dates from many years ago now, before I ever came to the Petopia forum. So I wouldn't let him off too easily with an "it wears you down eventually" defence. I think he was abrasive and confrontational from the start.

Anyway, he's leaving Blizzard, and I guess I wish him well with his future endeavours.

Basically. I'm not defending when he was snarky but then again....have some of you seen how people treat them on the forums? I can't blame him sometimes cause a lot of people on the forums are downright nasty.

I would actually put that down to inexperience at dealing with what is a very strongly minded player base. If you're not used to dealing with the public and a very unforgiving one at that (which from my 8yrs experience is the wow community or the loud minority of it anyway) then you are defiantly going to come off as a jerk at times. Unless you've been in that position you can't really know how it is tbh.

And yeah years of that has most likely taught him how to handle that community better which is why he hasn't been so abrasive recently. Anyway I hope hes health is ok and that he is happy where he ends up next

I'm not saying it was always the case, but all the ones I encountered came across to me as people that were indignant that their personal viewpoint wasn't being treated in the "customer is always right" way they're possibly used to being treated. And of course they can't be treated that way.
