I think they meant the Red Pandas, which are actually in the raccoon family if I recall.
@Tyger - Can't say I know that one. I only know the cute herding piggie raised by dogs.

We learned about Paul Bunyan in like elementary school; and he and Babe the ox have made a few pop culture references. But regardless, here's the wiki link:
