Actually tbh, no, no they aren't. I remember never questing in Hinterlands for the most part, because of those god damn wolves. Whenever I felt like it was safe or that I could make an escape, I would trip over not one, not two, but three wolves. And they always decimated me on my warlock and hunter. It's why up until recently I've rarely, if ever, touched Hinterlands.

The same with the Satyrs, killing them on a hordie was bad enough, but they killed many of my characters, my lock, my hunters, my second drood. It wasn't just the stealthers, it was the ones who did the curse/poison that would stun you randomly. It was never fun to watch my pet get raped and then me get raped as I would get stunned 3/4 times in a row and fail to channel a mend pet AND OR throw a mend pet.

Tbh new players are missing out on nothing but grief.

Also- I was also one of the newbies that thought that since the wolves could prowl, that they would know it when tamed. Somehow/someway so yes I did tame a few trying to get a prowling wolf. When I realized that they were somehow just ordinary ninja wolves I spat on their existance and moved off, mad that they got my hopes up for nothing.

It was just my own opinion on the matter. I personally don't think it's quite the same. Sure it was frustrating, but that's the whole fun. I usually find places where I encountered tribulations to be more memorable than zones that I just breezed through hardly lifting a finger.

Little details like stealthed mobs and such just added that sense of danger and discovery while questing. I'm not saying everyone has to agree with me, but I really do think that some parts of the game should have been left as they were.
