I moved some of the testing from this thread into the Signature Test thread. (In large part to see if I could ...)

I don't want to hog bandwidth!

Well, the couple other forums I see usually have some post stating how large the images need to be, like picture size, file size, or something like that.

I'll just wait until all this is figured out, and then I'll mess with the sig.

I am completely lost when it comes to making sigs...which is sad because I really like them, but can't make one myself. I cant even do a simple coloring in photoshop :(

People say photoshop, all I get is a fuzzy memory from high school and a strange urge to sell cameras. Go figure.

Shiny. I might take the 6 hours to figure it out... computers and me, yeah we're not close friends...

Edit: Made a sig. Can't figure how to get it under 200 pixels or something. Plus can't resize it on photobucket or it takes out the moving animation. My attention span has officially been used up. I'll put a link to it here though.

Hmm. I had thought there was a file uploader for signatures (like there is for avatars) but apparently I was wrong! I wonder if I can find a mod for that ...

In the meantime, here's a way to cheat: Make a post in the signature test thread and attach the image you want to use in your signature as an attachment to the post. Then you can grab the URL for that attachment (there's a place to see all your attachments in the User Control Panel). You can use that URL between [ img ] tags in the signature editor to add the image to your signature.

I think that should work, anyway ....

hmmm tried a few other things as well, such as making the sig smaller and sending it in a private message. so far nothing
