The hell is on its head? It looks like a KZK Rift Dragon head from Second Life.... *Blinks* Without the textures and the fancy stuff of course. Weird.

That image above, looks like the uncorupted Aarakoa model with the wrong texture maybe? But then the teeth make me not sure... is that a new datamined model? O_O

It does look like a silithid, especially given you can see the mandibles. And I'm not sure about all the various bug races. I remember Harbinger Skyriss being in the Arcatraz, and you wouldn't think the naaru would have boogied all independently to Silithus just to kidnap a mindbender. But they also have a flamewaker in there too and who the hell knows where he came from either...

I think we will be seeing it and the OL model in WoD. Because I can't see that becoming the OL model

My image? Lol no. Sorry x3 I was just showing what the Rift looked like so it could be compared with the skull I mentioned.

I think both right.

When you think about it, the Sithlid (before they were tameable) were (and still are to a degree) a whole range of bugs from a similar hive group.

We now have the Silithid, that we know to be labelled as, to be a combination of the Standard, Colossus and Ant variants, and yet the flyers are classified wasps.



I dare say that the same could be said of Draenor, the ravangers are the ground units and the hookwasps, the flyers. They certainly share the same design aesthetics and I'd bet we will see them in co-habitation as well.

I'm so glad this was confirmed as a hunter pet. WoD is starting to look really awesome in terms of pet models. Compared to MoP for me, that is.


And fun fact: I didn't notice that it had mandibles. For a long time, I saw one huge solid jaw like Ravagers have. But then someone pointed out that it had mandibles, and from then on, I saw that they were separated. Not sure what happened there in my mind.

Ravager? looks more like a Silithid.. aq model with a creepy wod look.. def not a ravager..

That doesn't look like a ravager to me. Looks more like one of the AQ battle tanks.

Meh, it's a silithid. A ravager should look more like a scrab from Oddworld. You can't change the whole damn body structure of a ravager and still call it one, imho.

Looking at things now, Ravagers and Sillithids should just be combined in one family...

Hmmm, I like it. Definitely very Silithid, but maybe they're related? I can see, anyway, how our current-day Ravagers would have mutated from this beast.
