Not a fan of the helm at all.. the rest could work with an appropriate set of goggles.

I think they're veering away from the hunter look of things...could you imagine thriving to sneak around some hungry gnolls. One minute you're getting away nicely, but your belt happens to get stuck on some rope. You can't dislodge it as the stupid thing will take off your hand. So you begin to use the belt to saw through the rope. And then the shoulders decide to breathe a lil fire. And you're screwed

I'm not particularly thrilled about any of the sets so far (even the dragonfly wings druids get aren't something I would actually use), but I've been trying to keep in mind that the first tier of an expansion is usually not considered the best, in the end.

(There are exceptions, of course—priest t4 was my favourite of TBC's priest sets by miles, even if t5+6 were also really pretty + popular—but I still think they have a tendency to ramp up as an expansion progresses.)

I wish we'd get some simpler armor sets. I always have liked simplistic things. I actually love the armor in ESO; I've gotten bored of the game but that's one of the things I really liked. Of course, some more than others, but they all looked fairly decent, but simple. And I don't know why we can't have that in WoW.. Simple leather armor, plate armor like we had in Vanilla, just updated textures.. etc.

That being said I do kind of like the mythic gear, but I don't love it.

(I'm still using the Dragonsoul normal gear and an eyepatch on my hunter, and have been for about a year now, because I love the leathery look it has.)

Agreed. I don't like looking like I have bulky biceps as a hunter....nor do I enjoy looking like a warrior wannabe.

Oh, absolutely—I often joke to LFR groups when I'm on one of my hunters that they should stand on me, "the least shiny thing in this raid" because my preferred transmog has absolutely no particle effects (Soldier's set + Shrieking Bow + Mantle of Moss). Neither do my paladin, lock, or mage sets, now that I'm thinking about it, and if I could turn off particles for the majority of my other transmogs I totally would. I was really disappointed with the three mail sets you got from Pandaria questing + dungeons because those are usually the best places to get non-particled pieces, but the first questing set ended up too ornate (though the blue one matches heroic Dagryn's shockingly well and made it hard to decide to ditch for desperately-needed inventory space a few weeks ago), the second questing set ended up having really poor textures (and being kind of ugly on top of that), and the dungeon set is just... weird. I think they're just concerned that they need to go bigger with every subsequent "epeen" set (raiding/pvp) and so getting armor like that where there isn't a huge amount of floaty lights or animated fire breathing not-dragons may be a thing of the past :(

For all those that don't like the hunter set, hey it could be worse and be like the DK PVP set.

At least that DK set doesn't have a 3 dildoed belt like the Tier set does...

For some weird reason the first thing it made me think of is of some picture my old guild leader always posted around (Some guy wearing a pink/purple unicorn set) think there even some meme pictures about it floating around....
