Good luck won't camping that pretty Hydra. You may have some competition on your hands if others do the same. It's a two way situation. Either no one will be there, as they're all in the new place. Or everyone will be camping rares thinking no ones gonna be there.

Me? I'd go ahead and sit there a day before it came live, so there's no worry about having to get over quick enough. I will have to wait a few days before I dare go to Draenor as my computer will probably die on me if I go when there's people everywhere. Like Pandaria. That was a nightmare. I should probably look into hydras. I don't like them much, but no doubt I'll find one I like

How do you make the actual picture appear, instead of just a link? I tried an idea, but it didn't work I'm hoping it isn't necessary to use a computer to make the picture appear, but I don't mind if it is.

Hmm, lets think this through.

I am going to tame both of these hydra, run around with them first for a bit and then decide which version that I like better:


I might get a dozen of the hippos, they are so cute! Though I think this is my favorite coloration:


Never was a chimera fan, so I may tame a rylak to see if I like it any better, but I don't see myself keeping one long term.

I NEED this, if it does not have a ridiculous mechanic to tame:


The new boars are adorable, but I've never really used my older ones, they might get a second try, and I would likely pick this color:


Sporebats don't hold my interest, though again I will likely tame one to give it a try and then release. Smae for the new bat models:

I'm only taming a tiny few new pets, from what's been shown. Skin-wise, I'm unsure on some.

Chimaeron is a definite, and I've wanted it ever since the reveal that it's tameable. The white Sporebat is a very high chance, if it is tameable. Toucan Sam is a requirement because I still eat his cereal. Bone-white wasp is very tempting. I may give the Kaliri a try, but not very likely to keep.

Finally, this bad bird put Chimaeron in second place;


I wanted this ever since I saw it in Throne of Thunder. PLEASE LET IT BE TAMEABLE.

Why am I not surprised to see a load of green pets joining your stables? I never thought much in hydra and will probably get an old world one, instead of a thunder hydra.
At least I'm not the only one in love with the two shiny wolves! They're gorgeous! I don't mind if one is a rare pet, but can the spawn time be quick? Please? Camping is a scary experience. I saw a cinder wolf on another thread and if that becomes tamable...gimme!
Ravages and wasps, I'm the same as you. Odd looking bugs. Never liked them. Yet, these ones have caught my interest. I love their new skins :3

I agree with the shiny wolf. If I haven't made this clear...I WILL KILL for this pet. No questions asked. I'll be taming all of Draenors wolves if you don't mind me adm that red ravager model is gorgeous. Might be my favourite one.

Your holy grains are probably holy grails for quite a few if they become tamable personally, I love the black skin of the last one, but any colour works really. The young bird from the isle of thunder is just too cute to not have as a pet.

Don't remember if those particular color of wolves will be tameable or the red chimera but these are the ones I'd like to tame.

Scarlet, at least I'm not the only one getting more than two wolves this expansion. I thought it was just me with a sudden, and unhealthy, obsession with this new model. Apparently not.

I also quite like the look of the red armoured Rylak. I may or may not get one of these this coming expansion too. Ahh! So many pets! I've got loads of room in my stable. I should be alright

So far my tame list is pretty boring :x


The only pet I'm really excited about so far is the void wolf, which might not even make it to live in any appreciable quantities (challenge tame is good, spawn camp tame is bad—I still have never seen Karoma or Sambas in the wild, and the only time I saw Loque was when I was doing Frostbitten on my shaman)


Riverbeast-wise I'll likely pick up the blue OR the green (but not both), especially if they keep their current scaling (though I don't think that's likely :()


One of these four hydras—the orange if they add it back in-game, one of the other three (undecided on which) if they don't. I may challenge tame Chimaeron at some point, just to say I have... but I'm not likely to hang onto him unless I find him more attractive than expected when scaled down. I don't think whatever hydra I end up will get a lot of use since (as of the last time I heard) they'll be competing with cats, spirit beasts, and tallstriders for what buff they bring so it'll be on a purely "do I have stable space for this" basis, haha. Similarly,


may get tamed just because Sporebats™, but I'm unlikely to use it over Sporey. I love having more diversity in the family because I really like sporebats, but I don't like the new models/skins as much as the old ones (or at least the old blue one, the green's good and the brown's all right but the bluuuuuuue <333).


The Monstrous Spineclaw, aside from being my arch-nemesis (the spineclaw crab and Zesqua's rain stone are the only two things I'm missing for that "collect all the stuff" achievement on Timeless Isle, and have been since before it went account-wide...), is really really pretty. I have the Molten Front crab on my human hunter but I would totally pick this one up on my orc hunter (or any other hunter that may make it to 90+ in the future) haha

I'm not interested in rylaks at all (I might have been if they'd been proper chimaeras since I don't really like any of the existing chimaeras but alas), I've already got more birds of prey than I can justify holding onto, and I've got little interest in the new boars and ravagers. That said, if Tortos became tameable I'd be all over that in a heartbeat, and if stags/talbuks ends up going through, I can't decide between an old-style silver, cobalt, or white (are there even any wild whites in the game? I vaguely remember there being a mixed herd with Bach'lor but it looks like they're not actually trailing him anymore). I really really like talbuks though so I might splurge and go for all three, haha.

Plus they're adding new models with almost every build so there may be something else that's drop-dead gorgeous that we just haven't seen yet! (like maybe a new tallstrider, since we've still not seen that and we know they're around here somewhere)

Update since I got in the beta and tried stuff out.

Definites:
Chimaeron
Sporebat Darter (White Sporebat, level 100, Ashran)
Bloodthirsty Axebeak (Toucan Sam , level 90, Tanaan Jungle intro)
Heartsting Pollinator (Yellow Hook Wasp, level 92, Gorgrond)

Maybe:
Coldsnout Boar (White Boar, level 90, Frostfire Ridge). The run animation is iffy.
Twinbreath Skystalker (Red Rylak with saddle, level 90~, Frostfire Ridge). Rylak isn't a new family, thankfully, but it's so lanky.

Still not tameable, but definite when tameable:
Teroclaw Chick (Fledgling model from Throne of Thunder, level 94, Talador)


Some of the models look so much nicer ingame than the images across the site.

Pretty much my entire stable is going to end up being this guy, should they become tamable.



I also want a thunder hydra of some sort, but I can't decide which one. I'll just have to see them in-game! I think the red or green ones would work best with my hunter though.



Crazy in love with Riverbeasts, so I'll likely tame one of them. The green one is just too cute.



I'd love to get a Rylak, but they're exotic and my hunter is Survival, so. On to wolves! I am *absolutely* swapping out my hunter's brown saber worg for this glorious beast. The new wolves have stolen my heart in an alarmingly dramatic way. If it doesn't turn out to be a spirit beast, I might tame his fiery equivalent.



Can't decide on the new boars so far, I think I'll need to tame one and see how much I like the animations before I really decide... But the brown ones are tempting.



The new ravagers are perfect for my hunter! I want a ravager quite badly, but they've always been too alien for my hunter. Now that they look like bugs, though, I need one- he's quite the bug collector. (That said, no new wasp for him. I adore them, but he's got a huge one that he cannot part with.)



And finally- I'll probably pick up a new bat! Battroll, funnily enough, seeing as my hunter is a troll.

None. I don't like changing my line up I'm stereotypical aspergers like that XD I did not change my line up in Mop I don't think I will in this one. Even if I do tame a Hydra I don't know if I'd use it

I decided I best update what pets I'll be taming actually, as there's so many I've fallen in love with. I thought I had enough on my list to start with but now...there's too many!
I would upload photos, but there's too many I think. So, I'll compensate with a list

Terroclaw birds:
Black and blue skin
Yellowish skin (the lightest colour you can get)
Terroclaw chick ^.^

Wolves:
Black skin
Grey skin
White skin
Tan skin
Dark brown skin
Void wolf
Cinder wolf (?)

River beasts:
Mm. Not sure on these really, but I'd get the blue skin if I did get one.

Boars:
White skin
Brown skin
Same as river beasts. Not too sure, but I'll only be getting one skin if I do break and get one.

Hydras:
Blue skin -or-
Purple skin (thunder hydras)
For normal hydras, either the purple skin, blue/teal skin or the green skin.

New Kalari models:
The purple/red one. I feel not many people will want this one, so the more unique the better

New Raptors:
Green skin
Blue skin
Red skin
I'll probably decide on one skin as the number of pets I'm getting to is scary now. The red raptor I found when on the echo isles will probably get a retame, into the red one. But I love all of them.

Rylaks:
Red armoured skin
Chromatic skin (unarmoured)
Tan skin (also unarmoured)

Buggies!
Golden wasp skin. It reminds me of the colour scheme for Nozdormu's new model he got
Black ravager. The dark carapace against blood red eyes is gorgeous! I've always viewed them as killers, and this skin seems the most brutal. Lovely thought process I know ^_^

*deep breath* I'm done! It'll narrow down I reckon. That's quite a bit of my stables that's going to be filled. If I was to get all of them, that'd be 27 stable slots. I've got plenty, as I recently flushed out the pets I don't really use and released them back into the wild like a good hunter should. Thank God a Blizzard gave us 55 stable slots in total.

You're going to set off npcscan for a number of people!

I know :( If some non-rare mob pops up with the model I'll absolutely swap to that—I hate setting off NPCscan (both for myself and others) and almost always will swap out a rare pet for a common pet if the ability presents itself. It just doesn't often present itself, haha :x
