Concerning the idea of taming Rocs based on an Arakkoa rep, I found what may become the Arakkoa faction. NPCs in Spires of Arakk known as Arakkoa Outcasts.
I found a hub with them through Eagle Eye, they are Neutral, have a neutral dread raven and a flight master. Doesn't mean its a faction for us to gain rep with but it could be.
An interesting tid bit is that there are places where the outcasts fight other hostile Arakkoa. That puts an interesting spin on it, but would fit in the idea of the taming these things based on rep well. Say the Arakkoa Outcasts are trying to save the dread ravens from the other "evil/corrupted/tainted/whatever the story ends up being" Arakkoa who are using them for nefarious purposes. So they enlist us hunters, teach us the ways, and we save them by taming them

At first I thought this was just an error because its name is so close to his bear, Misha.

Speaking of which, where is she? :O
I know a German Shepherd named Nisha...

I'm thinking like cloud serpent rep. You find an egg of a dread Raven and hand it in to these neutrals. They say that you've saved an innocent from being corrupted. You then raise it up, by dailies or perhaps a quest line and in the end are given a mount of it. I love the idea of raising your own mounts. Makes them seem personal. Not something you brought.
However a pet would work out well too. If they were to use this skin as a pet, I demand pterrorwings. They use the same skeleton after all, and would have the same animations. Ones just fluffy. The others naked

pterrorwing is in the call beast ability so i don't see why they couldn't make it a pet as well as the frogs from timeless isle and i want yaks too

Uhm... from what I've heard the arakkoa faction are not really the "nice and goodly" guys. They're a lower, flightless caste, that's standing up against their noble sun-worshipping lords. They bring back to life the forgotten worship of Anzu, as he promisses them a flight on his dark wings. Also, Anzu reeks of an old-goddish, or at least ancient bloodthirsty evil thingie to me. Anyway, us helping them is an alliance of neccesity rather than ideology - a bit like Klaxxi.
And just like Klaxxi, I announce them the coolest guys of the expac!

If they find us worthy enough to entrust us with one of their god's babies - bring it on!

Ah I loved the Klaxxi. I am still waiting for the day that I can go tame Kovok and save him from the fate of all raid trash.

I would love another faction like them. I say bring it on!

Yeah it was painful having to kill the klaxxi. Especially kovok.

At least for now we have a chance to get him in battle pet form. xD

Haha yes! Another faction like the Klaxxi! Even if it means forking out for a really expensive mouth at the end, I don't care. I loved the overall moodiness that covered up friendliness from some of the Paragons. Even if they do make another faction like them, the Klaxxi shall remain supreme. I'd just like one of those dread ravens as a mount/pet. But if they do make a mount, it'll be a little different I reckon. If it's an unarmoured version, it'll annoy those who brought the deluxe edition of WoD. It'd be too similar, just naked. I myself may be buying the deluxe. Those dread ravens are gorgeous. Plus, it all works out cheaper if you think on what you get. But yes, the Klaxxi will remain Supreme.
heh. That sounded a little like when Xaril speaks during the raid encounter. "My alchemy is supreme." Yes, we know. You're the greatest. He's got a big ego, that Xaril. Which is why he's awesome.

man I can never understand how people love the Klaxxi. They want to eat you :c
To each their own, though.
Related, I think an unarmored version of the dread flying raven could make a cool rep mount. Mostly because I don't want to fork out an extra 20 bucks for the armored one that looks bulky. >>;

Actually my first thought was perhaps this is where the stormcrow comes from....or the sun version? Maybe a new druid flight form since the original epic quest chain involved the arroka to a point and their statues?? Just where my mind went

Oooooooh, I'd be ALL over playing my druid again if that become flight form, ngl.
If it did though, I wonder what they'd do with trolls...

Yes. Yes they do. Lets not forget Gleok <The Untamable>. The largest and clearest mocking.
Yes I'm still hurt by that ............ what of it!
Wouldn't surprise me if they did something like that again.

Ugh. Trolls. I like their druid forms but I prefer the tauren ones. A tauren is too bulky for me, however. I do not like the troll flight form. I think I'd like it if there was a glyph so that a troll druid could have a bird flight form, and maybe give the other druids a choice of if they wanted to have a bag flight form, they could. Then again, secerls people would probably flip out
I'd love it to be a flight form. But the true hunter in me asks the true question. Can I tame this gorgeous beastie?

Hey, I think Gleok was all in good fun.
I don't think they were trying to be like "ahahahha stupid hunters look you can't tame it!" especially since we have hydras now!
As for trolls...I see why they went bat form, but it's sort of meh to me. Especially if they gave druids cool new bird forms. (pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease ahem). I mean, I like all the other druid forms, but I'm just sort of ugh towards the bat form.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Gleok was meant in fun- espacially seeing as, at the time, they'd given hints about tamable hydras. I suspect that it was in the plans all along for hydras to become tamable, and Gleok was just a little teaser.
Also I'd be okay with troll bat form if it was... a nice model? I hope they update it at some point, and maybe give it a landing animation (please god) and some sort of glide, like the taxis have.
