The lockouts reset, do they not? Otherwise I would totally do this instead of waiting for Tuesday.

So after this pre patch we can tame our stags?
I thought it wasn't going to happen till the main patch drops if this is the case and we can tame stags tomorrow then I will first log my 90 DK and make sure I am using old models and put all his toys in the box before doing the usual dailies on Timeless May waste time running the old raids for mounts I usually run then after that check out the Blasted Lands area. If when all done with those and if possible head over to ICC or DS or FL and try and run them since we will get a buff to help soloing them.
Log my Worgen hunter next see how bad they screwed hunters then take and put any toy he has in the box before heading to Timeless and doing dailies. Go over to Blasted Lands and check out the quests get them out of the way. After that go and try to solo old raids for mounts with this buff we get while running with my new stag if we can tame them.
Log my Orc huntress next put any toy in box then if we can go and tame my favorite stag for her new pet make sure it is set for tanking and head to Timeless do the dailies. Then head to Blasted Lands check out Horde side to quests and do them after which with the buff go and try and solo any raids for mounts.
Log my Night Elf druid checking how bad they like hunters got screwed and making sure the old models are used since he has no toy he can just head to Timeless to try and kill stuff and hoping he can since he needs guild rep. If he can't kill anything try and use the buff if we have it to solo old raids for mounts if that isn't possible take him on a questing journey to work on old quests in old zones.
Last but not least log my Draenei huntress and clean out her stable for the stag party she is going to be my huntress of stags all pets will be abandoned except for certain ones if she has them. She is too low for Blasted Lands and such so after taming stags to fill her stable go questing with her. Also think of maybe boosting her for the Pandaria stags.
This all rests on if we do get the buff and are able to tame stags which I am hoping happens.

Yes, along with Hydras and Clefthooves and anything that's not exclusive to WoD

I haven't been thinking too much about what I plan to do today with the updated patch. I had a couple things in mind while I may do when I'm not trying to level my warrior to (at least) 89 before Hallow's End.
Astratia
- Log into Astra and check her new look. If I don't like it, go and get a facelift.
- Release the 'collected' pets she acquired. I have a handful that are merely there I just tamed to tame.
-Try and organize my stable by pet buff.
- Tame a White(ish) Pandarian Stag and a White Vanilla Stag. Tame a Brown Vanilla stag - see which fits best.
- Release 'The Spirit of Atha' (?) Tame an opaque hydra? I'm not too certain about this. I like the look of the new Draneor Hydras and would love a blue one. However, I'm hesitant as Atha was tamed back in that slim moment where he was glitched. He was one of my five pets that I wouldn't release. However his only fallback was the ghosty look. I prefer the opaque modles on Astra to the ghosty look, and an opaque Hydra may be fun.
Sezzul
Brand new Troll hunter which I used a upgrade to lvl 90 on. Made just because I wanted another character to try and get the Headless Horseman's Mount.
However, I'm starting to like her more then just that.
Tamed King Krush, an Armored Red Raptor, Loque'Nahak, the Orange Saber and the Black Saber. She's taming pets I liked but wouldn't use on Astra as they didn't fit her (well, save for Loque). So, she's becoming a toon I may use other then just collecting pets =3
- Check her new face. Get a facelift?
- Tame a Hydra
That's about it though for her.
My Alts can wait for now as I want to level my warrior 8 more levels by the end of Thursday night

Well, the patch went faster than I expected. 16 minutes to get converted and patched. Another 29 for a full defrag. Now the wait for the servers to come up.

Mine is still patching so I can afford to wait a bit xD But I'm so excited as well, even if it's just the pre-patch. Can't wait to get the new pets, run the dungeon and tame some things.

I forgot to mention I have to get lucky on Runestones so I can get my cloak. Pretty sure I'm 9/12, meaning I just need one extra lucky drop from any boss, and then I think I can get the heart and the runestone on the same run, so I'll be set.
Hopefully.
I really want my cloak. :c

Update addons.
Update game.
Fix more addons.
Fix UI (may start fresh here)
Clean out bank and move mogs to void.
Fix macros.
Regem and enchant as necessary
Test rotation on Ordos
And repeat on the next toon.

Just an update to this, big thanks to Gush (with an accented u) on Bronzebeard!
She saw me sitting there and once she summoned Vorsha, kept pointing at me and it, so I got the message she was telling me to tame it.

What I read is:
- zone in with no pet, or dismiss right at start, won't have time for it later
- check out the available wolves and focus the one you like, so you don't loose the sight of it when the group starts clearing forward
- immediately after the pull "your" wolf is in: distract shot it, pop deterrence and tame the beast, glyph of shorter tame cast recommended
If you're lucky it won't die before you finish the cast and the pet is yours

Are they immune to Freezing Trap? Cause couldn't you just freeze and tame? It would aggro the others once you start taming, but otherwise it'd work on pulling them away.

Sure you can freeze-trap them first... if your group lets you
