WoW Down to 5.6 Million Subscribers
Re: WoW Down to 5.6 Million Subscribers
IMHO let the number drop; it will either kill wow or would finally make blizz realize they shouldn't had ignored player's complain during beta.

I personally now think wow is dying.. Specially with the long pause, and the flying eventually thing. I think it will drop even lower to 2 Million, and then the overall lack of players on now nearly dead servers. Will prompt others to quit, and eventually you could be left with 500k or less.. At that point, they may make it F2P or just shut down all the servers and kill the game.pop wrote:IMHO let the number drop; it will either kill wow or would finally make blizz realize they shouldn't had ignored player's complain during beta.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?

Re: WoW Down to 5.6 Million Subscribers
I don't think WoW is dying yet. Many people myself included cancelled their subs because they're bored to tears with WoD. I can hardly stomach leveling a second character to 100, let alone my 4 other level 90 alts. But I still love the Warcraft games despite hating this particular expansion, and am excited for Legion. I'll definitely try beta and likely resub. I'm sure thousands of others will be doing the same. If Blizzard can catch peoples' attention, like they have, with this expansion we'll see the subs rise like always.
But the real test will be if those subs gained at launch will stick.

I havent canceled my sub but I havent been playing cause the end game has bored me, raiding moved too fast so my group never could push to finish before the next raid came out. So I've been playing SWTOR in the mean time.

WoD killed my wow interest. .by fare the most boring expansion. I liked the new hunter pets but i could just not wrap my self around the story linie in WoD... and i dont like raiding so once i hit 100 .. which was way way to fast imo.. it just became super dull.. and lvling more than 1 char.. shiver.. nope

Actually, I'm not playing any MMOs at all right now due to money/time constraints. Otherwise, my booty would be in SWTOR too!

Yeah. EA is....not cheap....unless we're going for cheapskates. They have some nice updates.
