Back on the original pokefarm, I use to stick event pokemon in the daycare and release all the eggs to the shelter so that many people could find event eggs. I even did requests, so if someone was trying for a particular event egg, I would breed them.

Event ones will become more common as time goes by since people are transferring their event pokemon from PF1 over to PFQ and breeding them (since transferred pokemon cannot be traded)

Do you think newbies would still like to receive a free event pokemon even if they become super common? Or do you think it would be the equivalent of handing them a pile of garbage? I don't want to get all excited about giving things to people if it would be one of those "Oh.. you shouldn't have. No, you really shouldn't have" moments. xD

I don't think any pokemon would really be rejected on the site...If someone doesn't want it they can always wonder trade it (and I am sure receiving an event in wonder trade would make people happy) or gift it, or use it to transfer an item from one person to another. That's the great thing about Pokefarm, there is pretty much unlimited space for pokemon (hoarding is encouraged). But I think people would love to receive event pokemon, I know I always love getting them.
