Yup, that one Another mob called Leytusk uses the same skin. I am just wondering if they're recent additions and have come from data that Wowhead has grabbed directly from Blizzard's servers (which is sometimes newer than what they push to our clients). The reason is I've so far failed to locate the skin, even after scouring unnamed image files. Maybe I just missed it. I did however find some rabbit skins finally, and some more whelp skins than I think have been shown on Wowhead.

...back to scouring the unnamed files for useful stuff

If theres anything we (I) can do to help, just ask. I'd be happy to (though I imagine I don't have the tools nor access)

Has anyone reported / modelled something that looks like an ammonite yet? There's a high quality skin (very large) for something with a spiral shell and soft parts that looks a lot like it may be for an ammonite or nautilus:

That looks really cool, and it does seem to be more of a nautilus than a snail, considering it has an actual eye and not a stalk.


I'd love for it to be a new pet family, considering so far we haven't actually gotten any "new" pet families (i.e., all the Mech skins are already in the game)

By this time in MoP/WoD, did we already know about water striders/quilen/porcupines/cranes and rylaks/riverbeasts? As great as the updated models are, my favorite part of each expansion is the never-before-seen creatures, and right now that seems limited to moose and untamable beasties (rocs, helsquid, etc.)

Might also be not a snail...

I always wondererd: We got a underwatermount back in Cata just for only one zone.
But for all the water in Azeroth, we never got any underwater pets...

AH, I found the mana blue/purple boar skin! Just need to find the right bristles now

I've added the purple boar to the main post. Thanks for your help in finding it. I'm still not sure its proper skin name, so I called it GiantBoarLeyTusk for now.

In addition I came across this weird bone spider skin. It has a symbol crudely painted on its back. Does anyone recognize it?


I'm not sure if it was added in Legion or earlier but it seems to be not quite finished, in that it's missing an alpha mask. You'll notice the webs on its legs are opaque where they are meant to be transparent.

Maybe that's the stuffed spider hanging in the hunter hall?

Yep, that's the only issue. No alpha mask.

Looks like we might get a new build soon. I can't wait to see what new stuff people uncover.
